Looking back, God has been so, so faithful through the years in my life again and again. He will continue to be faithful to me as I live for Him and stay close to Him.
Still listening in 2021, only March and it’s already been a wild ride here in Texas and throughout the world. God is taking me’od care of those of us who love Him, always has, always will.
As an Israeli (hebrew speaker) it's fascinating to watch the words from the classic prayers being explained so beautifully, and being lighted in a new light. Many thanks!
As an anniversary present I plan on getting the Shema tattooed on my wrist. Hebrew (to me anyway) is such a beautiful language. I do not speak it but plan on taking an online course in Biblical Hebrew this coming up year. I cant wait! ❤️🛐❤️🛐❤️✝️
If we translate Me'od as "muchness" or "very-ness" could we say that it means to love God in all the ways that we are "very". That would mean if you were very wealthy, you would love God with all of your wealth If you were very clever, you would love God with all of your mind That would mean whatever talents /you/ have in particular should be used to love God. I think this would tie in quite nicely with the passage (I think it is in Corinthians) about the church as a body with different organs (people) each with different abilities and purposes, but together serving the one purpose of loving God.
I can’t articulate how well done these videos are. I’m staggered by the Spirit-induced creativity of this team. The visuals are beautiful, relevant, and sound. The scholarly work behind the visuals is robust. Thank you for these videos. I use them all the time to teach kids, youth, young adults, and to be refreshed in my own study of the Word and pursuit of God. Thank you for obeying a call from God. I know much sacrifice has been made to make these. You’re making a significant impact.
Wow, it's amazing how God has been teaching me to honor Him with every possibility and opportunity, without knowing that this IS infact a direct command from the Bible!
I’m blown away 💥💥💥. There is so much sweetness in this teaching. So much honey on the lips with the richness of His love. I just want to eat more and feast on the lover of my soul. God we adore You!
Who’s watching in 2021!? (: Yahweh is Me’od Me’od wonderful! And BibleProject does a wonderful job at give us a magnificent idea of who God is that we can comprehend, and yet still stretches our minds and imaginations to ponder, meditate, and swim in the wonder and never ending streams of the nature, beauty, and character of our God Yahweh, please excuse my many words. Much Love and countless blessings to you all! (:

The Bible is really the best book ever. It is clearly only beacuse of the holy spirit that those writers could think on that, that's really a divine wisdon. (I'm sorry if I made some mistake in this comment)
Please don’t stop making an animated video about bible. It helps me to know Jesus more and it also aids me in sharing my knowledge to others. God Bless the Bible Project!
Thanks to you and your team soooooo much for this series. I have learned and continue to learn so much as HIS WORD opens my understanding. Thank you again.
I think this is probably one of the most insightful and helpful things I have ever watched. One word unpacked to reveal that we should not think of how to limit our love for God rather to "love God with all of our muchness ". Thank you
I love the Lord with all my muchness. My love for the Lord is NOT dependant on situations or events in my life but on what Jesus did for me in the cross!!!
majed h Islam is false. Please check out the video "the Islamic Dilemma" by David Wood. Organised christianity is false too, though. True christianity is not a religion, but a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, but through Jesus(John 14:6). Please check out the TH-cam channels "A Voice In The Desert" and "The Total Victory of Christ" to get a better picture of what Jesus really taught/ the Bible really teaches. I also recommend the websites "hell-is-a-myth", "mercifultruth" and "tentmaker", they cover the true teaching of the salvation of all mankind and expose the false teaching of hell.
The Bible Project has given me a new perception about God and the Bible that I and everyone really needed. It really helps bring a powerful understanding about things we barely or even cared to u understand because of so many misleads. This is super educational
Word study changes everything. OMG this is so fascinating! Thanks guys for this special 'shema' series. I've watched all six videos and I gotta say this one is my favorite.
I really like the little pause/silence you do at the end of every study at 4:10 it's like a second for reflexion. Awesome video btw, it's so beautiful to hear the Word of God
It's clearly understandable why Me'od was translated in greek as Dunamis. I remember when I meditated on this, I understood it literally as strength, and in that I understood that it is to love God with all I have, physically (when of course able to do so) and mentally. I am glad that I saw this, cause I now find an agreement between the shemah and what Paul says that we are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. That with all that we are and possess, should be devoted to loving God! Please join all the word study videos of the Shemah into one,vif you already have that planned, it'd be awesome to show someone who sees this for the first time! God bless you all!
That's great guys - often 'strength' implies difficulty or strife. 💡 When this clarifies loving God with all of your everything - including your weakness, your confusion etc! In your seeking, in your thinking and everything you have. Rather than just a vigorous physical strength that may not be present at all times! Very good! With love, the Clarity Team 💎💡🎀
Thank you all who created this video! May my comment help to spread this video and find more eyes to please and more ears hear and souls to indulge in🙏
You honestly have no idea how much this helped me. I NEEDED this. I am joyous. Thank you Abba for saving us all. Bless you Jesus. Thank you for putting up with me while I come around. My heart is pure in his eyes. That puts a big smile on my face. We got this because he has this. Oh the concept of savior has never sounded so pure before.
+casey priest I wrote quite a bit on it on another site, as a comment to some other person. I'll paste it here. """What you think fasting is, is not what a fast actually is. People always talk about the fast Daniel went on. “Oh, I need to go on the fast to hear God, seek him, know his will for my life, get blessed, get closer to God” yada yada yada, you get the idea… but that is not the truth. There is 2 kinds of interpretations, carnal and spiritual. We, unfortunately, often without second-guessing, take the carnal meaning out of everything and define it that way. For example; If I look at the Sabbath, it does not speak of a specific day that we come and observe the Lords Day. The Sabbath actually speaks of man resting in God and His grace. So, you have the spiritual interpretation which is resting in God and his ability and strength to give us life and to exalt us to His right hand- Then you have the carnal interpretation. The carnal observing of the sabbath. Which is what man does as we turn it into a day where we come and observe a day, even though it never had to do with anything about observing a specific day. It had to do with entering into Gods rest. I’m gonna quote a couple verses from Colossians 2 and then talk about what it is to observe a fast… [16 Therefore let no one sit in judgment on you in matters of food and drink, or with regard to a feast day or a New Moon or a Sabbath. 17 Such [things] are only the shadow of things that are to come, and they have only a symbolic value. But the reality (the substance, the solid fact of what is foreshadowed, the body of it) belongs to Christ.] So, the fast Daniel went on that looks like a “carnal fast” is not “the body” of what a fast is actually talking about. It was a shadow of the fast that would come in Jesus. When we interpret the fast Daniel went on carnally, then we are observing the shadow and we’re not observing the body of a fast that is found in Christ. People who preach this are preaching the shadow and not the substance. You want to point people to Christ, not the shadow. You can only observe a fast through Christ. So, to observe a sabbath is to believe on Jesus. That is the fulfillment. So, in the same way, fasting needs to find it’s fulfillment in Christ. So, the way you observe a fast is not by depriving yourself of food, water, or some entertainment. It’s believing on Jesus. BOOM. Done. The thing that Daniel fasted from was he did not make his ability or the works of his hands or the strength of the flesh his “food for life”. He did not make the Law system his food. He fasted from trusting in the strength of the flesh and the works of mans hands and instead, he believed on God and on Gods grace and strength to deliver him and give him life. Jesus did the exact same thing when he was on that Cross. He was tempted by the serpent to enlist his own ability to save himself, to clothe himself, to exalt himself to the position of a son… instead he fasted! The cross is a symbol of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil!"""
This series and this channel has been such a blessing for me. Really showed The Word in such a new and very exciting light for a girl who grew up in church.
I just love How you guys explain the Bible, making us love even more the Holy Word of God. Definitely spanish, english, or any other language will never let us understand the beautiful hebrew words, that describes perfectly what God said specifically. At the end, it's His chosen people. God bless you and Israel! 💖💗
I have been so challenged by the Shma word studies. It is waking me up to the fact that I don't do this well....taking ALL of me and loving the Lord with everything I have. I love looking at the Hebrew words and their meanings because they give so much more depth to words we have read for years. Thank you!
Thank you ADONAI for reaching out to me. This video series and all the others has uplifted my Soul and for that I say thank you The Bible Project, one day I will definitely be able to financially support you but for now I'll keep on praying.
I love this insight. In my synagogue, we say "...and you shall love Adonai your G-d with all of your heart, all of your mind, and all of your strength...." I have also heard it said by other jews "...all of your resources..." instead of "strength". Now, I understand the reason for resources, because of the Greek translation. Sometimes, when I say the Shema, I will say, "strength", and sometimes I will say, "resources". When I say the Shema, my soul pleads with Yisrael to love Adonai in these ways, not just with our own power or strength, but with everything, every resource our Father has given to us. Wbat I mean by that, is quite literally the meod, the "everythingness". Love Adonai with the food He has given us, the air He puts in our lungs, the vehicles He has given us, the money He has extended to us, the clothes He has allowed to be on our bodies, the hairs on oir heads, the very skin and fingernails we have, our shoes, with the seas and the dirt, withthe trees, with our weapons, with our houses, with our livestock; quite literally with everything is what I am saying when I say "resources" in the Shema. Everything we have He has extended to us; He is the provider of all our needs, our every breath, and our every heartbeat. And to finish this comment: my biggest plea when I say the Shema, is after saying literally to love Adonai your G-d with your everythingness, is saying to love your neighbor as yourself. That completes the way you love Adonai with your everythingness, loving your neighbor in such a massive way. The Shema is sooo deep; so, so deep. To me, Yeshua spent his life teaching people how to live the Shema as it was intended. The Shema, the nuthsell fullfillment of the Torah, and how to live. ❤
The point is that everything in a person life: every moment and opportunity, every ability and capacity offers a chance to Love and Honor The One who was made you. It is a call to love God with all of your "muchness". That meaning Strength in the Shema.
Thank you guys for this study it was very well received much appreciated. I just gained more clarity in staying of the Shema that I will forever cherish thank you and all the supporters.
You guys just keep surprising me with every video. The animation and teaching alike. So thankful for having this kinds of Bible studies. God bless you all in The Bible Project in Jesus' name!
Thanks me‘od much for the Word Study! I particularly enjoy learning about the Hebrew words used in the Old Testament and how the English translations can be somewhat... lacking. I hope there are other opportunities to explore the original Hebrew Scriptures.
I imagine a world without The Bible Project and I can't see it! What an amazing resource you've given and continue to give to a world in such great need of help interpreting the Bible.

Do a video on fasting. It seems to be a theme throughout the Bible.
Yosef Monserrat cool. Send the link
casey priest Fasting is not what people think it is in the Bible. It has nothing to do with abstaining.
Andrew Kibler cool. I’d Love to hear your thoughts. In my observation of the Bible, I feel fasting is meant in a literal and symbolic manner. :)
Can you do a podcast on Fasting? And how Jesus used it to worship?
+casey priest I wrote quite a bit on it on another site, as a comment to some other person. I'll paste it here.
"""What you think fasting is, is not what a fast actually is. People always talk about the fast Daniel went on. “Oh, I need to go on the fast to hear God, seek him, know his will for my life, get blessed, get closer to God” yada yada yada, you get the idea… but that is not the truth.
There is 2 kinds of interpretations, carnal and spiritual. We, unfortunately, often without second-guessing, take the carnal meaning out of everything and define it that way. For example;
If I look at the Sabbath, it does not speak of a specific day that we come and observe the Lords Day. The Sabbath actually speaks of man resting in God and His grace. So, you have the spiritual interpretation which is resting in God and his ability and strength to give us life and to exalt us to His right hand-
Then you have the carnal interpretation. The carnal observing of the sabbath. Which is what man does as we turn it into a day where we come and observe a day, even though it never had to do with anything about observing a specific day. It had to do with entering into Gods rest.
I’m gonna quote a couple verses from Colossians 2 and then talk about what it is to observe a fast…
[16 Therefore let no one sit in judgment on you in matters of food and drink, or with regard to a feast day or a New Moon or a Sabbath. 17 Such [things] are only the shadow of things that are to come, and they have only a symbolic value. But the reality (the substance, the solid fact of what is foreshadowed, the body of it) belongs to Christ.]
So, the fast Daniel went on that looks like a “carnal fast” is not “the body” of what a fast is actually talking about.
The cross is a symbol of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil!"""

Thanks me‘od much for the Word Study! I particularly enjoy learning about the Hebrew words used in the Old Testament and how the English translations can be somewhat... lacking. I hope there are other opportunities to explore the original Hebrew Scriptures.
Mike Spencer Hallelujah!
I imagine a world without The Bible Project and I can't see it! What an amazing resource you've given and continue to give to a world in such great need of help interpreting the Bible.
Can you do the word “Fear” as in “‘Fear’ the lord your God”
I see ‘fear’ as more like respect. As in you respect your parents. You may disobey them but they will love you back and you will respect them.
I think it's more Awe/Reverence/Respect. This is the God that created the universe and yet cares deeply about us as individuals.
Love watching your videos ❤️ helps me understand the Bible.Thank you!!!
