Very good video about the complications and it’s very hard to go with the surgery with the chances that those compli could occur. For the guy that died, you said that he might’ve not taken medication. Do doctors prescribe the medications to you pre or post surgery? It will be hard to go and buy medication right after the surgery unless if the doctor or the hospital you are in provide then to you? What kind of medication you had to use after the surgery and during the lengthening to avoid those complications?
Correct. These anti-coagulants (blood thinners) are prescription only (not over the counter). I was prescribed Enoxaparin, a syringe I inject on the front side of my stomach. Once a day, alternate sides each day (front left, then front right of stomach). 21 day supply, starting on day 0 (the same day I wake up from surgery). I believe my doctor also had another anti-coagulant injected through my IV on my wrist during my hospital stay.
