I'm about to do my front wheel bearings as well. I was going to go to 35x12.5 tires for some of the trails I hit in CO, I'm torn cause I want to put 1.25 spidertrax spacers instead of buying an expensive set of wheels with more negative offset. How many miles do you think you put on those spacers? I can handle doing the front every once in a while. But the rear bearings are a pain in the ass so not sure I want to go with spacers.
I’d say we put about 50,000 miles with these spacers. Also I’m pretty sure our FJ has all original wheel bearings and we just hit 200,000 and I only needed to replace the fronts. I’d say go for it haha. I love the look, it’ll make you look back at your car when walking away and smile. That extra stance just gives it a beast look. Especially if you go with those tires. With the wider tires it might not actually put as much stress on the wheel bearings since you’ll have more tread underneath it, if that makes sense.
@@kamalakeel The more I think about it the more I agree, just send it haha. In all reality me putting 50,000 miles on new bearings and some spacers will take me a solid few years at least - not worth worrying about. I won't lie I say it's for the trails but it's also just as much for the look too 😂 The more tread as absorption for the bearings makes sense too. Anyways I appreciate the input, I enjoy all your FJ vids!
*To each their own, but this is the ugliest FJ Cruiser or for that, any car on the road.* *Good thing is it may get broken into but no one would steal that!*
Great video. Informative. Loved the end pics.
Thank you for all the support on the videos. Yeea, the end pics definitely show all the transformations it’s been through haha.

You’re welcome. Thanks for the comment as well. I’ve never been to Colorado but seems like a beautiful state. Hope all goes well with your FJ.
Kamal,
Great video!
What would you estimate your total turn-around time spent was, and any surprises?
D
hi,I would like to ask, what causes the abnormal sound when driving more than 120km/hour, similar to the sound of wind?
