All Eric had to do was make books that weren't complete dogshit and all this criticism would be static. Everyone know his books are awful so he has to do all these dances to keep his crap going.
The way Eric pretends he isn't reading a script is one of the most annoying things I've ever seen, he's so animated and theatrical with his delivery that's it comes across as incredibly unnatural. Also why does he have a couple of key phrases he always uses over and over again? He sounds like he's trying to be a comic book character (which is ironic because he wrote himself with ISOM). If I hear him refer to himself as the "responding agency" one more time I'm going to have an aneurysm.
Eric is a dummy doing an impression of an intelligent person. I think he's trying to sound smarter than he is by using certain phrases that sound impressive. I noticed he uses "moreso" a lot too, and in rather awkward ways that don't really fit the context of what he's saying.
His writing is something you would expect from someone in middle school instead of a 35-40 year old man.
Lawyers can't wait to pull up on Eric to drop that legal bill

I started in the same position as Dick. Before I read the comic. Then I read it and my opinion on it. It is very mid. Like not as awful as they make it out, but not good either. I'm more concerned at the hypocritical behavior from the "comic's-gate" community of which I expected better from. Not be like Disney.
