I spent most of my summers as a child and teen in and around Brunswick, Freeport, and Augusta. LOVE THE PLACE!! I was just there a couple months ago to scatter my mom's ashes in Casco Bay, her last request. My Uncle (mom's brother) is Cym Hughes... and if you know anything about boating in Brunswick, Cym's name is likely to come up in that discussion. Thanks for the video and memories!
Born there 1938 52 mill street , witch is no longer there.I now live in fla .if I wasn't so old I would move back up there ! Great seafood great place to live.
Brunswick is close a place called Land's End, they ! They have scopes you can gaze through at the lighthouses. There are historic sites and stuff in that area, including the mariner museum with lots of old parts of ships and crab traps and stuff. I heard Brunswick area has more crab than lobster, locally. I wonder if thats true?
Personally i wasn't a fan of 3 months in having a break in and physical assault and my son wasnt either. Or the domestic violence i hear. The rabid foxes..
Silas I am so sorry to hear that this was your experience. Here is a link to the state wide program to end domestic violence. If you know anyone who is experencing this please feel free to share www.mcedv.org/get-help/

Can you recommend places to eat? Staying there for a few days!
Years ago we used to go Richards (German) and that Great Impasta. They were very good. I hear 555 North is really good.
