      @@Bady89-lg9sn easy, after every layer, the printhead go back in the corner, the program take a picture, then another layer is printed, and so on. its a software connected with the printer and the webcam

    love this puzzle! I used to have a couple of those when i was little, been trying to find similar ones for decades - closest i can find is 'Screwball scramble" and "Komgman" sets from Japan.

    The bird house is amazing! So big overhang angles without fails! How was it possible? Is it PLA? Will it be the same quality on a bowden setup?

      Your extruder setup should not matter. This is basically a combination of layer height (the smaller the easier are overhangs), flow and cooling.

      yes, it is ture that SV01 looks like ender 3, but has much more premium feature than ender 3, and it only cost little more compared to ender 3

    0:48: I can see your prints warping from the print bed. Print a brim, even if it is a short one; like 5mm.

      double check that your extrusion rate is calibrated correctly!! and keep your retraction distance around 1.6mm

    Hey. do you usually print without support? instead, do you print at low speeds? if so, on which and with what plastic?

      just good part cooling. this machine had a wide blower style part cooling fan which was quite effective ;)

      Probably after every layer the nozzle homes and so does the build plate and then takes a shot.

      @@vilmfilm Exactly, you could either use Octoprint with Octolapse or you manipulate the gcode by yourself so that the printer moves at every layer change and you can take a shot.

      You can use the default profile for a creality machine like the ender 3 and change the bed size and retraction down to 2mm

      I think it is some kind of slicer setting you set up with your camera or something, it's called octolapse, just look that up.

      License2Kill Amazingly the explosion of 3D printing hardware started in 2009 because the original patent for FDM printing from 1989 expired soooo it unfortunately has less to do with gigantic technological leaps and more to do with people being blocked from producing printers cheaply.

      i had a really good time with the SV01, the direct drive extruder and extra rigidity are a huge bonus over the ender series

    Quite useless things, but this video itself is a masterpiece. As far as I understand this SOVOL is Creality CR-10, the one in this video is very good tuned and assembled. And of course the author is pretty much skilled person.

      the sovol machine has a direct drive extruder which none of the creality machines have.

      this ones direct drive, its alot more rigid as well. similar parts just a little better build quality imho.
