If you think about it, the final product just looks complicated because there's a lot going on. But if you walk yourself back through the process then you'll see that each individual step was simple and easily explainable. It's just understanding all the individual parts (or in this case, each process of making the letters) and putting it all together to make the final product

@@pqddachu I guess it depends on which efficiency. I was able to do Architect with 12 buildings (best score is 11), but overflowed 705 letters. Oh you would LOVE SpaceChem, it's similar to this but you make chemical molecules (you don't need to know chemistry). It's great because the solution is more open ended than this, there are many ways to make what you need.
Should be able to reduce buildings slightly with the T and Y. You can make T with vertical flipped L + horizontal line (save you one machine for the horizontal flip there) and then if you bend a T it gives you a Y, so that swaps two merging machines (one for making the V [which I checked you weren't using anywhere else before making this comment] and then the one for adding the V to the I to make the Y,) for one bending machine. Could get you that sweet 13 machine record. (I'm sure someone commented basically this exact thing and already got it 8 months ago.) (Also I'm not commenting this in a like, "you fool, how could you not have known!" kind of way, because the various recipes are sooooo hard to find, and why keep looking for alternates once you found at least one for a given character.)
The gameplay reminds me of programming and coding classes where we had to plan the design of the code using either pseudo-code or a weird flow chart. This is giving coding flow chart energy.
This reminds me a lot of logic gate simulator. You start off with an oscillator, an AND gate and a NOT gate. I've made a calculator, a RAM card, a count down timer . I was working on making a full fledged CPU but screen space wasn't my friend haha

I'm not sure if I should point this out, but Matt's discontent towards architects, is rooted in the denail that he has the heart of an architect himself. Just watch this video and tell me that I'm wrong... It has architect vibes all over...
He did, they were just incredibly slow and inefficient. on the last try you can see one of the Ts get filled in but it cuts before the second T is made, both Ts come from the same production line so it was only a matter of time until the other T got filled.

Ok

I challenge you to see what word is more efficient. "Architect" or "Engineer"
it has to be engineer. Engineer only has 5 unique letters and architect has 7
@@abalakrishnan4152bro you be tripping that mother has 3 Es that's gonna take forever
I tested it out in game, architect is more efficient by far.

The thing I particularly like about your videos is your passion for perfecting everything, especially when someone else was better before. 👍
“I forgot to press play, I’m an idiot”, 2 seconds later “I’m a genius, I’m a genius, we have confirmed I am a genius”
Feels like a game secretly teaching us gates and the idea of using a full adder to yield complex mathematics.
This is an amazing introduction to node-based shaders, or honestly node-based coding in general!
That's what I thought too
Do “hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia”, which, ironically is the fear of long words. And I’m not joking when I say that, that’s a fact!

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
This game looks like my idea of hell 😂 I can't see anything fun about this, just incredibly frustrating lol.

I swear you and Aliensrock coordinate when you release your videos as you always upload at the exact same time.
almost like now they have the same upload schedule
its 5pm uk time
He changed his recently so don't blame me 😅
Has anyone ever seen RCE and AliensRock in the same room together? 🤔👀
@@gshinglesWe all know Matt has yet to show his face. Gotta wonder why.
The thumbnail totally spells out “pants”
I read pints. Damn, I crave a beer
I think I have the strongest shape curse because first thought was penis 😅

As always a great video!

"Real Civil Over-engineer"
Tom7 / suckerpinch has released a video 5 months ago regarding the Anagraphs - the theory behind this game, and why the Kemming problem is np-complete

Play this one again! This was such a cool game!
Factorio but words? I'm intrigued
Should have done Pneumanaultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
We need more of this pls
Not gonna lie, I love the x-nado shirt coming soon jokes.
So it's like zshape but with letters
Re-Confirmed...
Yes...
Can't stop laughing! thanks for making my day brighter every time!
You really have a knack for it! Never change!
Is it?
Feels familiar, but not quite.
Guess I've been watching Matt for a long time, memory fades.
that thumbnail was what really drew me in 🔥
Never thought I'd see a Brit struggle with making T before
ah, i see now matt is adopting tyler's strategy of funny words in the thumbnail...
What's funny about the word PINES though?
@@OurHeroXero its not pines its panes dummy, as in glass panes, which is funny because its paneful to come up with a way to beat the algorithm

i don't think you can change the thingies when the factory is already running
"Type your own word"

2:23 really matt?😂
The miniature is pants Right?
The word for the thumbnail is definitely pines😅
I thought it was frowned upon to call them benders…
That backwards 7 looks awfully like a greek Gamma (Γ)
Now try it with the fewest parts
Nevermind. Didn’t watch the full video
The answer to the cover is pines
Next time: hexakoisioihexekontahexaphobia
YAAAAY MORE WORD FACTORI
Pls do moreeeeeee
Love your videos man!!!
This is just full blown ENGINEERING
It’s quite complicated to see what’s going on here
Pints! That’s what the thumbnail was, right?
Shapez, but with words. And less mental than Shapez cause that minipart I still don't understand lol

shapez is literally just a cooler version of this game

Next time "uncopyrightable" as it is the longest word without multiple used of letters
Has RCE played shapez??
I hope the thumbnail made you think of "ponds" or "pants". Surely there's nothing else. What else would you see? Why are you snickering?
now try doing pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis

Protein deficiency?

D P . These alphabets sound efficient to me
