I learned so much! Tape as a mask, removing overdone color, and a great metallic paint recommendation. Your painting is beautiful. The black paper makes everything look more vibrant.
I agree with Roxanne, the painting before lifting off any purple looked so stunning. Still I love the end result too. Metallic paint on black paper is beautiful. I’d like to see you do some Gouache on black paper, that always looks so lovely too. You certainly come up with some interesting ideas. Keep it up and thank you.
Thank you, Renate, for your suggestion. Believe it or not, I do not have gouache. Only few basic colors. I should probably get some and give them a try. They are very similar to acrilycs and I haven`t painted with those in a long time. :)
Love this painting! this solar eclipse turned out amazing! I love to use metallic watercolors on my illustrations because they give that 'magical' touch 😊✨✨✨ and I agree that they cover much more when they are dry than you can see while they are still wet - you just have to get use to them 😉 love the backgound you made, like some purple galaxy 😍😍👏 have a wonderful day! I love those metallic paints. They are made up of tiny metal flakes. When wet they lose their reflective properties. When it drys the metal flakes become very reflective again.

Yes! That is truth. They were lot more sparkly when dried. :)

Probably not on a black paper because they would be hardly visible. But on a white paper, why not. :)
