Me alegra ver que de los 50 solo me faltan unos 8 por agregar a la coleccion. Gracias Erick por siempre avivar la llama de la coleccion y el amor por los RPG.
Star ocean really is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED. That free form battle system gives it a bit of niche to fighting. (No hate against turn based) its always been one of my top jrpg possibly top 1 on my list. It has been overlooked long enough.
Just a correction about 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's a common missunderstanding that the game was developed (or co-developed) by FromSoftware when the game was actually developed by Silicon Studio. FromSoftware only published the game in Japan.
That's definitely the list! I'm a pretty avid PS3 collector and I had never heard of Tokyo Ghost Hunters so thanks for that. I only recently discovered Battle Princess doing Japanese collecting.
I remember visiting it from time to time just to check the new areas and just to chill when i wasn't in the mood to play something. I have fond memories of it.
Cross Edge - I did not expect to see that. If this was my list, I would have put Trinity Universe somewhere on this list. My bad - he did mention it. I must have been getting my coffee at 19:23 and missed it.
Ni no Kuni wrath of the white Witch was the third bestselling rpg on PS3. Great graphics and story, and an even better battle-system! Chrono Trigger is a far better game than its sequel, Chrono Cross, in my opinion. Question: which do you like the best, the Dragon Quest series, or all the Final Fantasy games?
Thanks for this❤ was looking for more gem games to get for my ps3 Currently think I have 12 of the games on your list 🤔 will have to look into the others Folklore was interesting was unfortunately not a fan of the motion control part of the game, that aspect made the game unplayable for me sadly….
Final Hallway you mean? Take a look at what an awsome game ff12 is with lots and lots of content and rpg mechanics. FF13 is such a dissapointment. What is it that you actually like about it?
I like FF 12 too, I like Ivalice world but the story can't keep me from playing the game. The story not engaging enough, the story not making me care about the character and their fates. I might try it again in the future
Completely agreed, the times of the PS1 and PS2 were amazing, the only very good of the PS3 is Graces F, sadly the rest are bad or just mediocre, nothing memorable, nothing like Valkyries Profile, Eternia, Alundra of Shadows Hearts 2
@@nickwick35 Make a top 10. Not a single games in the last decade will make the list. The likes of Chrono Trigger, FFVI-X, and Secret of Mana will be there every single time. JRPGs are in a terrible spot currently, especially turn-based, the only notable ones are Persona 5 (worse than 3 & 4), Pokemon (at its lowest point by far), and Yakuza (a strange choice for the series).
A good thing about the list being this long is there are some that I haven't heard of.

The PS3/Xbox 360 era seems to be so forgotten compared to the other eras

Top 50 or ALL the 50 Jrpgs ? Lol
He could've put Neptunia games in there, and some other titles but didn't. There were some pretty bad JRPGs on the PS3.
He didn't include his nemesis PS3 RPG, Time and Eternity. I love to hear the guy rant about how much he hates that game
@@austinrivers2885 it has great art at least
I had forgotten about Tears to Tiara. Enjoyed it a lot many years ago.
Who remembers PlayStation Home? That was years ahead of its time... Sad Sony dropped it.
That was super neat

Fans have restored some of it, It's a Work In Progress project but functional
@@supermahmoudOn Playstation or on Windows?
Tales of Graces F , Star Ocean 4, Folkore the GOAT
Trinity Souls and Tides of Destiny were sick too
Tales of Xillia so good you mentioned it twice, huh? 😆
Wow, so many JRPGs I've missed out on. I wish I had the time to try them all. Sigh...
Love so many of these.we forget person 5 is a ps3 game.my fav ps3 jrpg is persona 5 lol i was more into xbox during that gen so i missed alot

Did you watch the video? He literally mentioned it.
Lost Dimension is so good
PS3 JRPG time it’s not as great as the SNES or PS1 JRPGs but still good

warrior legend of troy
Interesting video, but the music in the background doesn't fit at all and is annoying.😢
Dude said Ex zillia
Nice list, wonderful jrpgs!. Forget a Tales of vesperia!
My Final Destiny ALternatives!!!!! wooooooooH
I think you need to give FF13 another chance erick, most people gave it a second thought about it after more months passed since FF16 released
Final Hallway you mean? Take a look at what an awsome game ff12 is with lots and lots of content and rpg mechanics. FF13 is such a dissapointment. What is it that you actually like about it?

Final Fantasy XIII is amazing.
thumbnail is?
Persona 5
PS3 was a dark age for JRPGs. But it only got worse from there somehow... PS1 & PS2 were unmatchable.
JRPG's are in a golden age right now, idk what you're talking about
