Hi Paul. Thanks for another trip down memory lane.I loved Pete Burns, I remember dancing to his “you’ll spin me right round” in the 80s. Then fast forward to the late 90s and my daughters’ first disco while holidaying in Greece they both fell in love with the song. We all cried when we found out about his tragic end. I always thought he was very much like Oscar Wilde. Hopefully he is now resting in peace with his mum he loved so much.

Hiya Paul, When Carlisle play Portsmouth at Brunton Park, you should come up and do some Filming then and come to the game, just an idea, I didn't really listen to Pete Burns or Dead Or Alive, did they only have one album? my Uncle is homophobic, so the only thing we were allowed to listen to was Beatles, Rolling Stones,10CC, Dr Hook and Status Quo, no way could we listen to Queen, Elton John, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Erasure, most of the 1980s really, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England

It's certainly is disgusting that people steal items from Graves, A elderly Gentleman I knew was devastated when he went to his wife's grave only to find the bronze statue of Mary which was part of the headstone was stolen and the scum caused bad damage to the headstone. Obviously this caused the gentleman to be heartbroken and devastated that someone would do such a disgusting and vile act to make money from robbing from a dead person especially from his dead wife. I myself was disgusted and actually appealed on our local radio news for the same return of the statue but sadly it wasn't returned so he had to fork out a lot of money to get it replaced but even though the headstone company did a good job replacing the statue you still could see the damaged caused to the back of the headstone. People can be so cruel it broke my heart seeing what this caused to my dear friend sadly he is no longer here on earth but take comfort knowing he is reunited with his wife in the spiritual world.

Could never quite get Pete Burns. Loved his music. He seemed purposefully controversial in all areas of his life...a big character in every way. A lovely final resting place...thanks Paul for bringing it to us...

I really like your videos Paul. I think because you not only acknowledge all these people who have passed but by going to their resting places you are also reverent about the fact that we are mortal and that time isn’t promised. That makes you someone I would want to befriend.

Hey Paul, great work again. I spent 15 years living in Maida Vale and I’d frequently see Pete with his partner and a few times in M&S. You couldn’t miss Pete in Public that’s for sure!! I’d also frequently see Steve Strange a lot too who you previously featured in Porthcawl,Cymru. Thanks for making this video.

@@brendaizquierdo5695 I am not sure as I knew of Pete due to his fame. I’d frequently see Leslie Phillips, Chrissie Hynde and Paul Weller as they all live/lived there.

I feel sorry for Pete, the amount of plastic surgery he had in his later years suggests he had some issues and was very unhappy with himself. He was very handsome originally and had a great stage presence.
That’s a lovely flowerbed he has as a grave marker, though it looks like the lavender could do with a bit of a trim.
