We were in Israel a few weeks ago. I miss eating this delicious food. Hummus in Israel is light and fluffy with olive oil drenched on top but it doesn’t taste oily. The cucumber and tomato have an amazing crunch, had them daily with hummus. Truly a blessed land of milk and honey.

I did. Not a lot of the dessert. I went straight for the foods..I ate the pastries in the morning for sure. I gained so much weight in Yeshiva. I was well over 300lbs in Israel. :)
I ate at a street vendor outside of a USO in Haifa back in 1989. it was chicken I think with cabbage with a red sauce. not too hot but it was my favorite food.
IT was a tall building, there was a bar beside it where sailors and ISDF came together and have fun. got a little loud so the bartender reached below counter and fired off a few AK-47 rounds. after that it was quiet. i saw the zoo the Dead Sea and the Massada. the Massada was so AWESOME. The Food was the best in the world in Israel.

Would you agree that sabich is a meat free or completely vegetarian sandwich... it cant be if it has eggs in it, right ?? In hakosem's video they described it as meat free which i dont think it is...
I am not an expert on this topic, but from what I know Sabich is a completely vegetarian sandwich. From what I know eggs are ok to eat for a vegetarian, but not for a vegan. I know that in some countries, like India, eggs are considered meat - hope this helps.
@@Amirimer I got your point....here in india you can find hardcore vegetarians and vegans...some states like gujarat are an almost vegetarian state....rarely you find non veg eateries there....i'm from the state of kerala where we have both famous veg and non veg dishes...karimeen fry ( Green chromide also called pearl spot fish) is a seafood speciality here...its really good...we almost call it our state dish....

A good place for Borekas Is "Borekas Turcki" (בורקס טורכי) in Haifa, its not that hard to find these places, just google it. hope you enjoy!
You don’t mention Abu-Shukri in the old city of Jerusalem, the best hummus in the Middle East! I have been there several times and I think it’s my favorite (I also love one spot in Akko but I forget the name)

There are many restaurants that serve bacon in Israel - I can't recommend any personally because I have not visited them, but I am sure that after doing some research on Google you will find some good ones.

There are many restaurants that serve bacon in Israel - I can't recommend any personally because I have not visited them, but I am sure that after doing some research on Google you will find some good ones.
