nub marks are bad based on your build
That's something I forgot to mention. The green plastic could be better and they made no effort to hide the nubs.

Removing nub marks so they are totally unnoticeable makes for a WORSE review.
Showing the nub marks is revealing more about the products quality design, witch is the point of a review.

It having some fragile/loose joints and falling apart easily is anime accurate.

Sounds like a great idea for a custom Base. A speaker and some LEDs throughout. Gundam flying above as the Leos cower in fear.

The Leo are my favorite grunt suit. They feel the closest to a real-world piece of military equipment.
Allow me to introduce the HG Loto. The smallest HG kit ever, and it's a pack of 2 Lotos. They transform, are very bulky, and look like something from real life.
@@primustheprotogen3169 AND canonically is piloted by several pilots and it can even carry a small troop of soldiers, just like a combination of a tank and armored infantry vehicle.
LEO literally has that european WWI mass produced but customizable look that makes it pretty much the perfect grunt suit.
Sucks it has to be in GW where anything but a the Gundam dies from a sneeze.

To be honest I've never built a kit but I watch this reviews just because it's Mecha Gaikotsu. The voice, style and depth of review, and the sneaky humor are all so entertaining. Made me buy a few more Figma than I intended back a couple years ago too
The Leo NPD is gonna be glotious. Those alternate heads are gonna help for a custom Leo

@@ArkadiosTheodulus certainly viable, but you gotta be careful not to crinkle the foil while setting the part. I see no way to dislodge the Leo's camera piece after you fully install it
People are already making crazy customs with this, just wait a bit more and we'll start seeing monstrosities
They made a kit of a mass-production Mobile Suit easy to build, cheap, and easy to customize. Points for realism!
It also falls apart easier than most other kits. Points for accuracy

For those still on the fence as to whether they should get this, I would definitely say go for it. It have great range of articulation and come with a wide amount of accessories at an incredulous bargain of only 1,000 yen. I just bought and snapped mine today and I couldn’t be more happier with it.
This would look amazing weathered and with yellow highlights!

I know the emphasis was on the lack of stickers, but I think a square silver/chrome foil sticker behind the camera would do wonders for the look (that or painting it yourself), since the clear yellow part easily fades into the murky depths of the all-green back of the head.
Here is hoping they make a high grade of every grunt suit from wing I own the magnac and I love it
I attached the beam sabers to the shield and when I tried to pop the off, the holder popped off too on both of them rendering them unusable. So I had to cut the connectors of the beams and glue them to the hilts to make them functional
I know that I'm late to the party here but recently built my own LEO and I gotta say I was pretty disappointed. I definitely see what they were going for. A cheap and extremely easy build and on those areas there is no issues as I only dropped like $11(usd) including tax. But dam the joints were loose. The waist on my is fine but the hips and of course the ankle armor were insanely loose. I ended up just super gluing the ankle armor and that fixed that issue but the hip joints I took apart and painted the pollycaps and it took a pretty thick layer to actually get them to be acceptable(to me). I know alot of people end up saying you get what you pay for but considering you can get the 1/144 HGUC RX-78-2 for like $2 more I think its a lazy copout. The RX-78-2 is cheap, easy to put together but the build quality is much better than the HGAC 1/144 LEO to the point to where $2 price change isn't valid enough for it to made that poorly. Again, I get it suppose to be a cheap army builder but dam, I don't think $2 is enough for them to remove four parts to make the joints more reliable.
If only future kits are as good as this, nice color seperation, great articulation, and simplicity.
The Leo(and the Fine Build System as a whole) does have some problems though
Loose Joints, awkward height if you want accuracy, and the fine-build system never has been and never will be the peak of Gunpla engineering (the EG RX-78’s legs got loose after a week)
I read that wrong as "lego review" and thought the whole intro was sarcastic until you showed the runners. the knee caps were really throwing me off
I already built 5 of them and I don't regret it one bit
I'd upgraded mine slightly, a bit from another kits foil sticker behind the clear lens in the face works great for making it pop just a bit more
There's also Leo NPD, a kit of unmanned Leo variant that can be converted into a purple regular Leo.

Currently making a "gold squadron" of Leos.
Basically i use gold on certain spots on the Leo to give it a different look.
If the NPC variant comes out, i probably kitbash some of its parts after i purchase the hg leo

Now there is a Leo in green but with TONS of accessories, the exclusive accessories were the relaxed hands and the parachute pack, sadly it is P-Bandai
I love my hg leo and didn’t want him to look like he was sliced with a scythe so I put him in a pose where he gets kicked by deathscythe
After building the kit something is off about it, idk if its the proportions or what but it definitely sticks out in my collection.
Alot of fans say im just thinking to much but im build diver episode 7 we see the OZ 06MS -SS1 Leo-S from gundam wing g-unit for a few seconds and i feel that might be Bandai teasing there first p-Bandai leo.but im not Bandai so who knows what leo will be the first p-Bandai leo variant. But i think that was there way of showing it as barely anyone even wing fans know much about the G-unit manga

I know I'm asking this three years too late but how would you tighten up the polycap joint in the waist? I just built a flight type leo and just picking it up from the torso the legs constantly fall off at the waist.
Add a layer of superglue to the inside of the joint (not on the poly cap).
Make sure to let it dry before reassembling 😃

they should outline the areas where the parts are found on the runners more often. It would make building a lot more convenient. I love building gunpla but hate looking through runners.
