Yo Chris! Your videos are sick. I love the Pisgah area. Every year I come down to Pisgah for a week and ride the trails. I always am trying to ride new trails I haven't done before. You seem to know your way around the good stuff. I will be down next there next week for the entire week (May 19-25). Would love to link up with you for a ride if you have any availability. At the very least I'd love to chat with you and get some recommendations for some trails I haven't done before. Thanks! - John

Thanks man! I appreciate the comment, sadly I’ll be working in Charlotte during the times you listed but feel free to hit me up on instagram for advice!

@@chrisburns460 I don't have IG unfortunately. I have done Black Mtn, Avery Creek, Bennett Gap, Spencer Gap to Fletcher Creek, Pilot Rock, Pilot Cove Loop, Kitsuma. Planning on hitting Trace Ridge this year. Any trails outside of that you think I should look into?

Really anything that looks cool online and you can find on a map is cool! The Wilson’s creek stuff is a little more remote and harder to find but definitely cool to check out if you know where to look!

That little tree on the left at 3:24 is getting people!

I don’t find any of those trails on the usual apps. Looks fun

Yea, you’ve got to have a feel for the forest to get around 🤷‍♂️

these trails would look so much better if their wasn't so many leaves on them

There’s typically a small window in the year that happens, but definitely rare 😅

What map do you use to navigate the Wilson creek area? I looked on Trailforks and it doesn’t show much.

      Wondering the same thing

To be honest you really just have to know people, once you get a lay of the land it’s not hard to navigate but you have to be in the know.

you just have to learn where everything is the old fashion way, getting to know people, or wandering up any trails you come across.

TH-camrs make it look accessible and easy. It's not, trail map suck and it's super rough (video doesn't do it justice). Too easy to get lost in a very remote area. Not worth the long ass drive, go to old fort or Brevard

Well said, it’s much easier to navigate out there!

      Absolutely. Wilson Creek is terrible.

Epics are the most fun. Never stop searching.
