Great stuff! I was hoping for a commentary of all trails as you've been doing for other riding areas. Maybe next video? PNF is on my list of trails to ride and would love a detailed review!
Serious GNAR! I thought raspberry, green town and beehive was the best loop at Wilson's Creek. I must ride this loop. What is the best time to ride trail 9 and trail 1 at brown mountain? Would it be too busy with MOTO and ORV to ride it July 20 weekend?
@@willgentry4599 thanks dude! Yes it is a good loop, I ride it in the winter when the park is closed so I don’t know how it would ride in the summer 🤷♂️
@@chrisburns460 heck yeah been locked down buildin a farm for the whole time, i can leave for a few hours now and then these days ! ahahahah.... just a few 🥲
Hello Chris, your videos are very good, thanks for sharing them. I have two questions, is it allowed to ride the Brown Mountain OHV system when it is closed? And the other question is: When does this system close and when does it open?
It’s unreal, I’ve ridden big slabs in DuPont state forest as well as in the ranger district on pilot cove, but this one definitely takes the cake, proper huge!
What OHV trail are you using to climb back up to other trails? like BM-1 then going down BM-9. Also do you need to buy a pass of your riding your bike there?
@chrisburns460 Thanks, I rode Woodruff last weekend thanks to your recent video. That was some of my favorite sections of trail I've been on so far. You should do a history of Wilson's creek like your recent videos.
Wilson creek is fun. It's got some gnar, tech, flow and a lot of gravel riding. Great video. Good stuff
The trail variety is insane! And thanks!!

Great suggestion! I’m currently in school and scripted videos do take quite a while to produce, but it is on the to-do list!
Killer video Chris! Those slabs and rock features look so much fun. Gotta get out to Wilson’s!!!
Thanks man!! Yea, the trails out there are all-time!!! 🤙🤙🤙
Awesome riding!!! Trail Dog Misty gave it two front paws up!
Thanks!!! Appreciate it trail dog Misty!!! 🤙
Pisgah is so awesome.
Truth 👆
Dayum, this looks fun as hell! Don’t think I’ve ever seen any of this before? This is in Pisgah???
It sure is!! It’s in the very northernmost district of North Carolina, commonly referred to as Wilson’s creek or the grandfather district!

Thank you CJ super fun to get some video of a ride like this.
Yes bro of course!!! Thanks for showing me around!!!
Great video!!!
Thanks!! 🤙🤙🤙
I’m always amazed by the speed you guys can carry, even on wet leave ! Do you even have brakes ?
The double Assegai combination is pretty dependable! And yea, these trails are super fast!!

@@chrisburns460 It seems I have heard to ride it in the winter also.
Looks great i been hunting for big rocks since i moved to WNC 4 years ago 😊
They are out there! Just gotta go exploring!

Rowdy.
It’s insane! 🤙
So fun!
Dude, Wilson’s is seriously the best 😅
Trail condition looks pretty good
It was amazing!!! Until the rain at the very end but it was still a ton of fun! 😅
Awesome video man!! You guys were rippin🤘
Appreciate it!! Speeds were definitely high haha!
@@chrisburns460 for sure 😀 what bike is Robert riding?

Awesome video, looks really fun. Thinking of heading to Wilson Creek this year, where is BM-1? Can't find it on trail forks
Try looking on hiking project and Avenza maps!! That’s what I use!
@@chrisburns460Are they also listed on the USGS maps? 🤔
Didn’t realize Wilson’s was that slabbed up 😮
Just gotta know where to look 👀
Hello Chris, your videos are very good, thanks for sharing them. I have two questions, is it allowed to ride the Brown Mountain OHV system when it is closed? And the other question is: When does this system close and when does it open?
The closures are posted on the brown mtn ohv website and it’s up to you when you ride there, your discretion entirely
Ok, thank you
I really like your video quality and color grading. Do you use a Flat profile on your GoPro and color grade afterwards?
I appreciate it! And for TH-cam I do not color grade!
Dude… I’ve never seen a slab like that anywhere I’ve ridden in NC/VA/MD - that’s sick
It’s unreal, I’ve ridden big slabs in DuPont state forest as well as in the ranger district on pilot cove, but this one definitely takes the cake, proper huge!
@@chrisburns460 yea that’s nuts - I’ve ridden both of those others areas …. that’s nuts
sick❤🔥

We climb back up bm1! The only part of bm1 we ride down is the very top! I also buy a pass if I am there during operating hours!

It’s definitely on the list, the scripted videos take a long time to produce, so maybe after school lets out I’ll get a start on it!
it's Wilson Creek by the way. No "s". Just Wilson
Wilson’s is grammatically correct and superior 🤷♂️
Could you post your route for this ride?
I don’t map my rides, I have an old phone that does not run strava or anything like that.
Its "Wilson Creek"
Wilson’s is grammatically correct and superior 🤷♂️
Grammatically correct doesnt matter with proper nouns. Look at a map www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/nfsnc/recarea/?recid=49016
Thank you so much for the great footage and NOT running your mouth the entire time. More MTB TH-camrs should do that.
The sounds of the bikes and tires is nice sometimes haha, also sometimes I find I can focus better without talking!
You're forgetting to breathe and holding your breath, work on that for sure
👍
