I understand it's fine to criticise united because they have been bad. But I just don't understand juls point about Jim Ratcliffe not being present in women's final.
the point i can make out of it is that its a bad look/shows his lack of care -- and de facto the lack of ownerships care -- for the woman’s team. cause the women are literally playing a final and the men are in a fight for the europa league with a woeful record against the potential league leaders. and united's squad is depleted to (even no bruno which is a once in a blue moon type event).

Has there every been a more damning statement than that. Last year , Ten Hag did a lot of the first point (work with what he had) and it was obvious (at least it should have been) that the players he had, weren't suited to the second point ( instill patterns of play). Results, 3rd place finish , with 23 wins, 2 Cup Finals, 1 Cup Trophy, CL qualifications all done with 43 goals allowed (good enough for 3rd in GA), league leading 17 Clean Sheets while only scoring 58( good enough for 10th).
And then.........Mason Mount happened, Andre Onana Happened, Rasmud Hojlund happened and Harry Kane/Victor Osimhen DIDN"T happen. Results : Most loses in PL History(14), Most Home Losses since the 70"s(9), 56 goals allowed ( good for 6th so far), 52 goals scored (good for 13th so far), no European Football, 8th place in the Table and a Top 3 or 4 in injuries.
INOS have a decision to make. Which is the true Ten Hag, 2022/23 or 2023/24. One thing we do know.....Ten Hag can't recruit

United don’t have a new ceo, a new sporting director or a new head of recruitment yet. So far only one of those has a start date which is July.
Why would they rush the decision of replacing ten Hag when the people being hired to make those decisions haven’t even had their first day at work yet?
Makes more sense to keep ten Hag for one more season and get all the Backroom hires working in their new positions for a few months before making a sensible long term appointment.

Chelsea & Newcastle have more games lost to injury than Manchester United... including ALL of Newcastle's back 5 except for Dan Burn. I don't want to hear excuses for Manchester United. They have WAY more in terms of resources to cover injuries than Newcastle... which still have 2/3 a squad full of Steve Bruce players.

What? Arsenal played European football last year and injury numbers Arsenal is middle of the pack. Partey missed almost the whole year. Timber missed all year almost. Jesus half the year. Martinelli multiple injuries. Tomi missed a large chunk of games. Odegaard's been carrying an injury almost the entire year and missed time. Zinchenko part of the year. It's a lie that we've been lucky injury wise.
