Everyone always says Tintin is a Mary Sue that can do literally everything but no one talks about Django Freeman! (Perfect aim despite never even touching a gun before!)
...You know what's the kicker? Considering that Haddock had been drinking a lot prior to him drinking the medicated Spirits (Mainly Whiskey), he may have actually _distilled the Alcohol_ he consumed before, so those Fumes provided quite a _Violent_ kickstart to the plane's engine. I mean, remember, we haven't seen Haddock eat a lot of food prior to all this... And I only now _JUST_ realize that Haddock's condition is likely what inspired Tavish Finnegan Degroot's Alcohol problem! ...So yeah, I think I better see if I can put that Idea to use... I also find it interesting that after the pilots bail out, the one in the tan shirt has his hands over his heart, as if saying "Oh gods, I almost died up there."

Dogs drinking whiskey actually used to be very common. Dogs were used for quality control in distilleries, and often given a bit of the product as a treat. That's also why so many whiskeys have dogs on the label ...but also yeah that was more like isopropyl

Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
I will always give this scene a 10 mostly because haddock stop snowy from drinking the alcohol

For those who don’t understand why the name “Milou” is on the video’s title, that’s Snowy’s name in the original French.
Still waiting for the 4K release and sequel
You’ll be waiting a sure while yet feller.
A 4k release would be crazy lol

now i imagine cap haddock with the tide turner, booties and eyelander

My god I think snowy might be the first dog in the world to drink whiskey...
That was not whiskey

Demm.. haddock fumes must been real strong to give that much power to the engine...

I just like it how you can see the World War 1 aircraft in the movie
yeah nice detail!
The plane looks to be from the mid 1920s due to it being an early all metal monoplane design
@@jackdaugaard-hansen4512 I think that wing belongs to a WW1 Fokker D. VII
I believe the movie is in between the wars; you can see quite a few old German wrecks in the desert from WWI.
@@zeta-o4z I think the newspaper in the movie said 1944 so this is a timeline where ww2 didn't happen.

Heck, I never knew Snowy and the Thompsons had different names depending on the language until I read the Black Island in Scots.
In German, they're names 'Schulze und Schultze'. In the Nelvana animation, this was further abridged to 'Schulz und Schulze'.
If I know dogs, gravity and sudden infusion of alcohol, I can almost guarantee you Snowy would've horked. Poor lil terrier

Why does a Belgian have a British accent?
Well the movie was made in English and he’s played by a British actor, that’s why.
English dubs of the Tintin franchise retconned it so that he and many of the supporting characters are British
