can i say "Good afternoon everyone, I am going to introduce myself and my team members, I am -angel- , and these are my group mates -demon, fairy, harry potter, & ron weasley- , and today, my team and I will be presenting case 1
Yes, absolutely! You can even skip the "I am going to introduce myself and..." part. Simply say, "Good afternoon, everyone. I am..." It's much easier, simpler and faster. Thanks for sharing and good luck!
@@CarlKwan Thanks... i will be having a presentation today... :)

Great video, i have a question. You give an example at 2:26 about how to introduce the next team member, and what to say when their name is 'John' or 'Alex' or 'Whoever'. The person in my team for that slot has the name Jose. How would I go about introducing someone names 'Jose' in that spot? Thanks again
Thank you!

Hi! How can we introduce our team in case of online recording presentation, when the audience will not see our faces but only hear our voices?
If there is time, each person can introduce themselves. Or you can also send an email or something with each person's photo and bio beforehand
@@CarlKwan Thank you so much for your immediate response.
So helpful
thank you very much. but I it don't have vietsub. So I can't understand and listen so much. ^!^

Hi sir is it compulsory to introduce every single person or not? Please reply I have presentation tomorrow.... please reply sir
thanq Soooo much.
Thank you, too!
good video! thanks a lot!
I've already did this but my lecturer said you must introduce your team member first and yourself at last, it's English culture. Which one is correct way to start the presentation in English ?
I don't think there's a right or wrong way but for school, if the lecturer is marking you based on that criteria, then just follow what they say. But in real life, there's no rule that you have to introduce others first. It totally depends on the situation. Great question. Good luck.
@@CarlKwan Thank you so much for your insight, it's very helpful...success...
I will have a group presentation wich my teammates won't be there. How should I introduce them? I thought of "I am representing my group....", but I'm not sure about it.
Great question Vitor! Hope this doesn't happen often! :)
I'm going to suggest not mentioning anything. It might sound like an excuse. At that moment, you are the only person the audience cares about. If this is for a work situation, you could let the host know beforehand that you'll be presenting without your team. If it's for school, let your teacher know. Otherwise, the audience doesn't need to know. Hope that's helpful.
@@CarlKwanKwan thank you for answering me. The work I was talking about is a presentation that will occur in a Symposium that, unfortunately, my group will not going because it will happen in other country and we only could send one (me). So. I was thinking about how would be the best way to tell that I'm representing the group.
Or another hypothesis is how would I introduce them if they were in the symposium, but they would be sitting with the audience. How I should introduce them in this case?
@@vitorfdes I liked your question and made a video about it because I think this could happen to other people. The video comes out Tuesday and in it, I mention that the audience only cares about the person presenting. You have to give the presentation to the best of your abilities because the audience will not know or care that your teammates couldn't be there. Hope that helps and if possible, please watch the video when it comes out on Tuesday. Thanks and good luck.
For sure I will watch the video. Thank you so much for you answer and attention.
@@vitorfdes The video with the answer was published today. Hope you get a chance to watch and hope it's helpful.
Awww...Thank you :)
