He was ok, if you've seen them live, you'd know he struggled to keep up quite a bit. Couple that with accounts from both within and outside the band, it paints a pretty clear picture that he was let go for behavioural problems moreso than anything to do with his drumming, they actively tried to accommodate that even...problem is that he has massive ego and entitlement issues. Though you probably don't care about the why anyway.
As someone who has a lot of religious siblings and family members this song is my response to them when they ask why I’m not the same as them or believe the way they do. To them I say, “Your bibles don’t work for me! I’ll never kill myself to save my soul”
