congrats on the great defense season! specially dealing with annoying plonkers. Emblem Ike has been honestly so annyoing to deal with and so consistently there in every season, not going to lie, Breath of Life 4 might be the straw that breaks the camel's back, that skill is way, way overtuned like Laguz Friend 4 and it allows for almost no counterplay, did it really needed to lessen Deep Wounds too? what worries me is that E!Ike now has way, way more healing than he would ever need and he had plenty already.
I personally have been able to have great success (like consistent 11-0’s) with some pretty unique bases/ ideas. Thing is to be creative in this meta you HAVE to have at least 2-3 meta units that counter Ike. If you have em you can add favs and go wild with creativity but if you don’t your pretty much f’d. I’m very fortunate that INGRENE and Lumera, two characters I really like, both got amazing alt and ALSO counter Ike (F! Lumera on defense is actually so big brain cuz it gets rid of Lumera tiles) I don’t know if my new bases counter Breath of Life 4 Ike tho… besides my new light season base with attuned Micaiah cuz she one shots him with hardy baring lmao. Actually think Breath of life 4 is the most unbalanced skill to ever come out in feh history but that’s a topic for another day. It literally cuts the amount of counter play against Ike in half at least 😭😭
My soon to be father in law is a huge Celtics fan so he is eating well lol. But glad you're back, bud! I've not really done much with my AR-D team since Baby Robin came out so I feel that. There's just way too much to account for/try to figure out. But now that BoL4 E!Ike is a thing I will likely have to think of something else. Cause my first day this season I got hit with him paired with A!Micaiah and Duo Sharena. What do you even do in that situation? Lol
