1.7 and 1.12 has like all the super crazy mods for multiple reasons i think
both where really long so there was a good lot of time to create mods
and it was around the era where mob battles and such got really popular
it was also less laggy back then since the height limit is only at 256 which means less blocks loaded per chunk. trying to play modded minecraft beyond 1.17 already consumes a lot more ram as opposed to the same modded gameplay but played in 1.16

The Strongest mod is really just the mod maker going on an autistic powerscaling rant that’s basically an ultra extended version of “my dad can beat up your dad” and the IRL author is at the top of the hierarchy so in order to really beat the mod you need to find and curbstomp them in real life

I feel like the Witherstorm is still the most well put together boss mod. I just wanna see a version of it where if you don't kill it fast enough on phase 7, it destroys everything
In terms of balance and quality, it definitely beats out all of the others. Still, even during phase 7 there's not really any sense of urgency to defeat it. You're right, there should 100% be major consequences for letting it fester for long enough

I love the concept of dealing a percentage of max health, it's a whole new level of op
No matter the armour you will be 2 or 3 shot
And having items that can counter that, like armours, and potions

Wither storm can actually be killed before it goes into its final phase if you get a strong enough sword and outlast it with saturation soups and golden apples
although this will make it so the wither storm will drop nothing as the mod creators did not expect you to kill it like that

@@aivarsgraudins8423 nah ive seen a guy kill the wither storm while it was in the first phase with a sword diamond armour and saturation soups. Its pulls you in so you can get hits and eventually kill it
@@salarahmed9261 Aivars' right, as of the recent update, if you kill the Wither Storm pre-Destroyer Phases, it instantly skips to the destroyer phases. There's even an achievement for that!

Ooh, I hope you do showcase the lost infinity mod because it's very underrated. Like, I haven't seen a popular showcase of the mod except for Ssundee and his friends playthrough of the mod in their insanecraft series when it was being developed.

Would it be wrong to ask you to do a proper showcase of the mods you showed? I quite like the lost infinity stones mod and the Titans mod and you actually have a really nice voice for mod showcases I think. Like it's not too loud for me. Not only that, but Lost infinity stones doesn't actually have a real showcase of all the stuff excluding Ssundee and his friends playthrough of it in their insanecraft series.
Honestly the only thing really stopping me is the fact that personally, I like doing these "themed" sort of videos a lot better than just static mod reviews, just because of the variety they could provide. I'm not entirely opposed to it though, I'd just need some inspiration

1.12 happened right before they totally changed how the game worked from a code perspective, so modders were stuck on 1.12 for a while, and 1.8 took years to come out, so it's pretty much just having more time in those versions

Also, for things you can’t figure out in lost infinity check out the other members of insane craft and there videos(sigils is a good one) as the wiki isn’t super good and the videos are also good watching, Sigils has really powerful weapons and specter summoning armor and extra life and immunity weapons to focus on. Bifflewiffle used defensive armor and really annoying weapons. And Henwy and JeromeASF use everything
