Craig Petty is back with another episode of our very popular '3 Best Tricks' series. Craig highlights three older or less well known routines that you might not have seen before.
In this video Craig talks about tricks with dice. There are hundreds of really great tricks with dice that have been created over the years. However most magicians don't think about dice tricks when thinking about classic routines. This is a real shame though because some dice tricks are amazing.

Gotta say Craig, all 3 effects are very nice, but I prefer Andverdi's Mental Die over any dice effect I've done. As you know, it will provide many, many possibilities for routines. JMO
Still loving your channel though and look forward to your interviews with other magicians.
Here is the thing.I have it.It's very good mentalism routine but weak point is you are guessing color of the dice not the number.Spectator expectation is predict number too.
So I combine it with Bad Land bob.I have painted trapped dice to forced die color.Now I can make a double impact to predict color and the number at the same time.
can u help me forcing a die pls ?

Gotta say, compared to Radical Dice Routine I much prefer Bob Sheets "It's The Rules." Uses 2 Normal dice, which can be borrowed, has a similar effect, but I think better routine and Bob has worked out a way to do this with much larger dice than the original Sachs dice routine. I pretty much always have a pair of casino dice in the ticket pocket of my jeans to do this routine, but if I am actually working I have some much larger ones and can easily do this for up to around 30 people with no problems.
I'm guessing for Die-Abolical you can always get other boxes and more dice and change the outcome. Either way the effect itself isn't so powerful as I'm guessing the spectator knows or figures out easy what's going on.

I did not understand on the presentation of "Roll" what's the point of giving the deck a cut to "loose" a card that is already in the middle, and even after the "cut" it's still on the middle and not towards the very top or towards the very bottom as a normal cut would have caused it to be.
After Ryland picked the blue die, you asked him if he wanted to change his mind, and he didn't. What if he had changed his mind?
