A lot of people complained about how they handled Thor in this movie, but "I'm still worthy" made it all worth it. Super emotional for anyone who's dealt with depression, low self-esteem, or really any mental health issues.

I don't even know that they talked. I think Bucky just knew, and Steve knew that he would know. When you really know someone's values, figuring out what their choice in a given situation will be is less difficult than you might imagine. It's the discerning of those underlying fundamental assumptions that even they might not consciously be aware of that's the hard part.
In figuring out those foundations, it helps to remember that, while words can lie (even if they aren't meant to), actions tend to do so less often.

Pffft it was sad to see Thanos nerfed beyond recognition in order to raise up SJW wokeness. Thanos is a universal threat a single team would not be able to stop him even without the stones. They also nerfed Thor just so they could claim women characters are stronger. Thanos one hands Captain Marvel in her strongest form and even Thor is no match for him. But in order to give the good guys so far released in the MCU a snowballs of a chance against Thanos they took away like 80% of his power. His base ability is he is a energy absorber he absorbs cosmic energy from space at all times. He also is a energy manipulator able to channel, absorb, and release insane amounts of energy in the form a energy blast you never once see him use. He is the avatar of Death he cannot die because Death herself barred him from her realm. The Living Tribunal does not interfere with Thanos because he sees him as part of the universe constant making him a abstract just like Death,Infinity,Eternity...etc. So in closing Wanda and/or CM couldn't scratch the skin on Thanos's left nutsack. Endgame was the last of the Great MCU movies and the start of the M-She-U. We got a Dr.Strange movie where Strange played second fiddle to Wanda next is Thor:Love and Thunder (great title) where Thor will only be there as a joke in order to raise up another woke character.

That “cheeseburgers” line… hit me like a brick wall in the theater. During the funeral and the subsequent scenes before it, I felt as if my heart was being carpet bombed with emotions. “I am Iron Man” “You can rest now” “I love you 3000”. The entire time I can feel that emotion pushing me to the breaking point, but some how I’m still holding it in.
And then as the camera zooms out during the funeral I’m thinking about the first Iron Man movie. When we first saw Stark. When he got back home and asked for only two things a conference and cheeseburgers. Then Happy asks Morgan if she wants anything. In my head I was thinking: “Don’t you say it…”. When she said: “cheeseburgers”.

Speaking of our big scaly friend, if you haven't seen it, could a reaction to "Shin Godzilla" be a possibility? It is so much better than it has any right to be. I think it may even have surpassed the original, and I'd honestly put it up against almost any recent film, in terms of quality. “Avengers Assemble!” As a long time comic fan I have been waiting for that line to be uttered. But Cap saying it during the final battle for Earth just held more weight it shows just how much the Avengers have grown beyond the original 6. As for Tony its fitting he made the sacrifice play he started his journey as an arrogant prick but gave his life knowing he had so much to lose. As for Cap’s ending its fitting I don’t like how he went back in time it feels as he abandoned his friends to pick up the pieces of their lives while he ran away but on the flip side it makes sense he fought for others for almost a century and now finally the warrior can rest.

That was always something that bugged me about the (ongoing, 40-year-old) conservative moral panic around participation trophies and that sort of thing. I mean, first, their bad-faith complaints never made sense at all, as you can reward participation in addition to having competitive rewards, as opposed to in place of same, but moreover, on what fucking planet would people who really believed in the "rugged individualism" and "entrepreneurial spirit" they lyingly lay claim to want to send the message that trying isn't admirable in and of itself?

Many opinions about this movie but everyone would agree that it was EPIC. You can't compare it to anything that ever hit the movie theaters because this culmination was orchestrated along the way with every individual movie and character arc leading up to this. Everyone who watched all or most of the movies, whether they were Marvel fans or just loved the stories and action, knew the heroes, their stories and this universe. So it was everything to a lot of people including myself. There is no movie in my mind that is better and I doubt any in the future will be able to touch it. Even if there was an Epic level future MCU movie, say with the X-Men or even a DC one (hard to imagine though...) Infinity War/End Game was the FIRST and set the standard. Finally I believe Tony Stark's "intelligence" lives somewhere (look at Arnim Zola). No one with that intellect level would let themselves "die."

it wasn't that great as a single movie PoV, the movie was great because of the leadup & culmination of 17 odd movies before it. In fact, very few MCU movies (except Winter Soldier, IW,etc) on its own can contend for the best comic book movie, let alone one of the best movies of all time. Don't know how you arrived at that conclusion lol.
It's simultaneously a good & a bad thing about MCU. This connectivity makes MCU be what it is today tho. Hats off to Kevin Feige.

60sec in and the tears are coming.
Such a great film/franchise. Roughly...what. 20 films lead up to this? 12yrs or so as well?
Craziness. I can't imagine any franchise having such a huge impact like this ever again.
Was so great to basically raise my son with these. Once he was old enough to get into them, Iron Man 3 was his first. Then pretty much every one we saw on the early Thursday night openings.
Just, wow. And i am glad i have been able to see so many of these reactions with you two.

"They should be able to beat him, he doesn't have the Infinity Stones".
Thanos is a millennia-old galactic warlord with CENTURIES of hand-to-hand fighting experience. Along with being a master tactician and strategist, he possesses genius-level intellect, superhuman strength (on par with the Hulk), prowess, agility, reflexes and endurance. He is not to be trifled with, Stones or no.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. I've watched a bunch of reaction videos of this and I get teary every single time. Great job guys! And actually this is the first time I've noticed when Pepper says "You'll never rest" regarding the rime travel, then at the end she says "You can rest now". Damn it's good

Yep, he wrecked Hulk in Infinity War without using any stones. Comparable strength and toughness, but Thanos is far more skilled as a fighter.

That final charge is so reminiscent of the old school team up comic events...I never thought I'd see something like it in the cinema, it was absolutely spectacularly good.
