Full credit to the manager! As a Torquay fan I totally agree with your summary. I thought Farnborough are a good side and moved the ball well and had a lot of possession. Torquay have a habit of starting quickly but lose momentum as the first half progresses which allows the opposition to get back in the game. However I thought had Farnborough scored they could have gone on to win the game and having lost a player so early to a nasty injury full credit must go to their temperament and effort. I hope you go on to do well in the league this season as I appreciate opposition managers who see 2 colours in a game and not just a biased opinion. Finally from my position high in the stands on the half way line the 2nd goal looked extremely doubtful and the referee decision to give the ball to Farnborough after a Torquay forward was through on goal for a head injury was farcical. He didn’t have a good game! Also to stop all side using dark arts with so called head injuries a policy must be that someone going down holding their head must have the physio on and then must leave the pitch for 5 minutes for a so called concussion examination, this will then penalise their team if they are play acting which seems the norm with all teams now a days! Good luck to all at Farnborough you have an honest manager.
I thought Farnborough were quality. Passed the ball around brilliantly and kept it well. For a side full of injuries and sickness I thought Torquay were going to win convincingly. Torquay fan.

Watch the highlights and you'll see the keeper gets near the ball and bottles the challenge. Day is talking rubbish!
