    The spacial awareness in this recording/mix is simply stunning.

    Can't wait to see them live next Friday, and then again in June!! This is an absolute masterclass of a song.

    Thanks for reacting to this Jeff!
    One of my favourites by Snarky Puppy right next to The Curtain. I also really love the laid back feel and the transitions throughout the second half of the song!
    Keep up the good work - Pip M

    This was the first Snarky Puppy song I had ever heard. I was having a bad day, listening to a local radio station and this came on. I thought "who in the hell is this??". Bad day turned to good and I've been hooked on them ever since. This song is so beautiful. So many layers and so much depth to it. It's too bad it's so overlooked, but it's still a top 10 for me.

    I was spoiled early... after they got me used to seeing them play music live, it is so hard to just listen now... xD
    I need to see the actual musicians perform, the techniques they use and band members reacting to each other`s parts !

    And in reference to the concept of "organic", I totally agree...
    I'm biochemist myself... O think you hit the target with that word.... It implies balance, "equilibrium", roundness, if tou will... Like a very good wine... Every flavour mixed on a single glass...
    "Rollercoastery"...

    12:05 Interesting observation. I take a similar view. It is almost like they are still at Berklee or in N.Texas discovering each other's capabilities in the practice room, late night after classes. "That sounds cool, let's run with that." So they start groovin' on that, when all of a sudden someone adds another idea, which takes the whole room in a different direction. I think this is why these guys still do 'after party' sets. Keeps the ideas and their spirit fresh.

    Grat comments, Jeff...
    That keyboard solo was intense, dude...

    I’m pretty sure that the harmonizer you mentioned in the solo starting at 3:11 is actually Zach Brock on the electric violin! If so he’d be playing fifths across two strings at once. I think he’s playing all of the ambient overtone-y stuff in the opening of this tune also. As a classically-trained violinist, it’s so amazing to see people pushing boundaries like this and creating such exciting work! Dude makes it rock so hard… Check out his solo on slow demon too, he’s a beast.

    • @StrateleStudios
      @StrateleStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Wow! That’s amazing! Thank you for pointing that out. I’ve heard some electric violinist using harmonizers before so I assumed that but it was a short passage so totally doable without one. 👏👍

    I had a hard time when this first came out. I know that they have more flexibility to be creative in a studio - highlighted by the ambient sounds on this track - but I was so used to the live tracking format (with video, which made the experience even better for me). Cultcha doesn't take away from the musicality of this group of geniuses, but I still need time to adjust to the studio format. There is probably no other band that has that "problem"

    • @StrateleStudios
      @StrateleStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I totally agree, seeing them perform like is so much a part of what they do so there is a feeling like you're missing something. But as yo said the music is still stellar!

    Waooo!!!....Congratulations my friend!! ...If you decide to react to famous singers videos in the future, here you have your best new year gift!!....Today it is very difficult to find reactors like you who have never reacted to the best singer in the world, Dimash Kudaibergen, who has 7 octaves and 3 semitones vocal range (An alien) ... Maybe someone made you a request to react to Dimash, but you have not had time .... I am going to dare to recommend that you meet Dimash, because when you do it for the first time, your life as reactor will change forever ....For example, the number of views that you have today, it will increase by 300% in a matter of a few hours and you will get a lot of new subscribers.....But when you react to Dimash, don't do it with his most recent songs ... I recommend that you go to the year 2017 and react to the song that made him a global idol ... I mean the performance he did Dimash from the famous French song called "SOS D'un Terrien en Détresse", when he participated in the famous Chinese reality show The Singer in that year 2017 ... With that performance Dimash earned the reputation of being the best singer on the planet, so I recommend you start with that one.... You can also start with the other famous live version of that song that Dimash did the following year 2018 when he was invited to the famous Slavic Bazzar festival in Belarus .... Both performances are from another planet...And I have to give you a warning: Never react to The World Best videos, because they suck!...Your life will never be the same again, after reacting for the first time to Dimash...And your first reaction to Dimash will be something very special, so I recommend that you do the best job of your life as a reactor, because that first video will be seen by thousands of people around the world, maybe millions...I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Dimash, but if you don't want to, that's fine...

    • @StrateleStudios
      @StrateleStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for this comment and all the info, Roimer. Dimash's name has popped up a couple times on the channel but I haven't quite made it over to his world yet. I'll keep him in mind! 👏
