Thanks Serene. We try to bring a variety of Villagers who are willing to share their perspectives and experiences so our audience doesn’t see just one side. So glad you enjoy :)
Thanks Tina, I’m always learning something from each of your shows. Still wish the airports weren’t so far away…and the ocean was a little closer… but that comes with bigger hurricane risks… It’s a give-and-take. I guess the new veranda homes are getting a lot of buzz…(wonder if a villager wanted to share about that)…
I agree, i wish the airports were so far away or there was an easy monorail to take :). For all the beachy people here, they seem to find beach options not too far away that fill their fix for sun and sand! You’re right, it’s a give and take, I definitely didn’t want to deal with hurricane worries…. Will have to check into the newer verandas and see what they are saying…. Thanks for watching
Love her, honesty. I live near Saw Grass in my view very expensive, not practical. Needs new marketing strategy. Thanks Tina you bring really good guests to interview.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and watching. We try to bring a diverse group of Villagers willing to share their thoughts and experiences so our audience can hear as well. 💋
That's funny you would mention the St Augustine grass here in Kansas that is weeds for us and we pull it out of our beautiful fescue grass. I love walking on it in my barefoot is so soft and not crunchy like your weed grass.
Becky was very fun . We met golfing together one day and was great to talk with :). Golfing in The Villages is a fun way to meet new people too. Thanks for watching !
I think you probably share the same sentiment as others who live is the more southern areas here. We all want to share in “Living the Dream” in The Villages
Please help me out here? Eaton Beach (I looked it up). Is not a beach on gulf or Atlantic Ocean. It appears to be a lake. How can you swim at Lake with Alligators? I’m new here and I don’t plan on committing suicide by swimming with Alligators. Is she going to this place to eat and view the lake? Or is this like a big pool with no alligators and man made beach? Also how do you not have car? What if you need to outside the bubble for services? Like a specialty doctor or a different place to eat. Do they use Ubers?
Yes, you’re correct, it’s on a lake but it has a beachy feel to it…. I think it’s safe to say any body of water in Florida is susceptible to alligator infiltration 🙈. There are many here who go boating and get in the water at the lakes and feel the alligators are more afraid of us than them. I happen to not agree and refuse to go in the lake water as I’m a scaredy cat.. 🐊. There are people here who do give up owning a car. They use Uber or there’s also a car service here called Kim’s as well as other private car services. Or you can find a friend who will take you. They will usually go to places accessible by golf car so probably frequent restaurants within carting distance/access…. It’s definitely a golf cart community/lifestyle here…
Why do they have to stop building? They are a business and they will stop building only when people stop buying new homes. The Villages is still very popular and have plans out 10 years to continue moving south and building new homes!
11 golf cars?? Even if she’s been there 20 years, that’s still a lot. She’s not telling the full story here. She’s either buying old clunkers and lemons repeatedly that fall apart in less than a year or she keeps on wrecking them herself.
So glad you enjoy the channel. We try to bring in guests who are willing to share different experiences and perspectives with our audience. Appreciate you watching!!
your guest dare always great! thanks so much!

Great show tina, Great guest, Eaton Beach, is on lake weir, and its a great place to met...enjoy!!!
thank you Kyle. Yes it’s on a lake but it does have a beachy feel to it even if not a real one! Always appreciate you watching :)

That's funny you would mention the St Augustine grass here in Kansas that is weeds for us and we pull it out of our beautiful fescue grass. I love walking on it in my barefoot is so soft and not crunchy like your weed grass.
That sounds like lovely grass in Kansas ! The grass is very “spongy” and different than where i grew up as a kid in Indiana!
She's a hoot! I think we could get along just fine.
Becky was very fun . We met golfing together one day and was great to talk with :). Golfing in The Villages is a fun way to meet new people too. Thanks for watching !
If they stopped building after Spanish Springs your guest wouldn’t have moved here. …..Snarky comment from a Moultrie Creek resident
I think you probably share the same sentiment as others who live is the more southern areas here. We all want to share in “Living the Dream” in The Villages
OMG, you remind me of Melissa McCarthy! Same sense of humor. You even sound the same.
That is such a fun observation!

You are correct. They definitely have plans for building for the next several years! So many want to live “the lifestyle”. Thanks for watching
Eaton beach is not a real coastal beach. It is on lake weir
Correct. It is on a lake but it has a beachy feel to it even if not an actual one 🙈. Thanks for watching!

It was a shocking number of golf cars but we will have to delve into the mystery…. To be continued~
Exactly
Little pretentious of the guest to want us who live in the southern section to say down here.
Anyways enjoy your channel!!

Golf cart 11 there is something fishy about this lady!!!!
She did have a lot of golf carts
Eew she has snakes there! That’s enough for me not to move there!
Some snakes are your friend…
