Dehydrated marshmallows are so addictive. The little ones just turn into cereal marshmallow bits, and the big ones either turn crunchy or massively chewy depending upon the heat. So good.

Random food fact!
If you're lactose intolerant and are wanting to substitute milk/butter in a recipe, try almond milk and clarified butter(ghee)! I buy a big thing of butter from costco and make ghee out of it, you bring it to a simmer and skim all the milk solids off the top which, from what I understand, renders it it free of lactose. Dunno if it does well in baked goods, haven't tried that yet. I don't like soy milk so I put almond milk in EVERYTHING (blue diamond original unsweetened is good, no sugar in it!)
You should report the valet, you're absolutely right when you said that he could be treating much more distraught people with that kind of attitude. Imagine your loved one is dying in the emergency room and someone treats you that way. It's absolutely unacceptable.

A great use for a dehydrator is homemade spice blends. Put some fresh herbs in until dry, then grind and blend. Delicious, and very useful when dealing with people who are allergic to certain herbs or spices.
We used to have a dehydrator way-back-when. It sounds like it was a similar size too!
Kale chips are amazing. We had some with dehydrated Ranch on top, which gives it great flavor but might not fit the dairy-free aspect... Banana chips and dried strawberries are amazing!

The only thing I've ever used a dehydrator for is drying out meals that can be re-hydrated on multi-day bush-walks, it makes the meals much lighter, and what you described sounds like what I've got too :)
Hey. I have a little cool tip for some really easy chips. Use a burrito wrap. Or any other wrap I usually use sourdough wraps. Stick them in the oven for maybe 15 minutes on high. (I use celsius) and the wraps crisp up and your break of chunks.
I've tried strawberries dehydrated before and they have dairy free yogurt you can get, that would probably be good with dried or fresh fruit in them. Black Bean tortilla chips are really good too. I got Kale chips in my Love with Food box that were amazing. I always like to take bananas, strawberries anything that is good in smoothies and freeze it and just put it in a blender with some peanut butter or any type of things and its really easy to get your fruits in.
Dodger PLEASE report this valet. If not for the anger against him, do it for the wellbeing of the other people who have to interact with him. Who knows how many people he's verbally abusing who are there because they may lose or have lost a loved one.

He was rude from the beginning, and only got worse after his failed attempt to start the vehicle. The valet had no right to say any of that, and he should lose his job.

I'd really hate handing my car to random people. Thankfully, I've never had valet anywhere, not even San Francisco.

Oh wow! Our family had a dehydrator when I was a kid. I just never knew what it was called! I ate a lot of banana chips when I was a kid and I think my mom tried to make homemade fruit roll ups... so that's a thing you could do!

Most valet services at hospitals are actually contracted out. Find out the company that is contracted and write them a letter as well as the hospital. Give a good description of what the guy looks like and stuff too.

I use to work valet at a hospital and that's absolutely ridiculous! Anytime we had enployees like that we tried the whole explanation of "you dont know whats happening to these people or maybe their family member/friend." and if that didnt change their attitude with their job, then BYEBYE!!! point is, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY WRITE A LETTER! that is so ridiculous and absurd. especially for a valet in the EMERGENCY ROOM -_____-

I recently got myself a dehydrator as I grow chillies and there's only so much jam and chutney you can make before the cupboards begin to creak under the weight. I wanna try making fruit jerky with pineapple and maybe add some spices in there. I'm also dying to give fruit leathers a go.
I've also recently started drinking milk again, after years of avoiding it due to intolerance, in the form of kefir. You basically stick a blob of bacteria and yeast into the milk and over a 12-24 period the kefir grains eat the lactose and poop out loads of good bacteria and other healthy stuff.
The algorithm randomly queued this up after a video I was watching and when it started I was like "D-...Dodger?!" She sounds so different from she does today.
Valets are just weird to me. We don't have them much in Texas, only at special events or at downtown restaurants. But they're much more common in Dallas, which is much more cosmopolitan. I just feel weird handing my keys away to some stranger. Like, I can park my own car, I don't want you to do it for me and pay you for the luxury.
Now I'm looking up dehydration units on Amazon and fantasizing about what I can do with oranges...
+William Brine You could turn those orange peels you normally toss out into a nice editable treat that is also perfect for adding into cakes and puddings.
Candied orange slices are great as well to make in a dehydrator.
The process can be done without a dehydrator, but using one speeds up the process quite a bit.

As I said in my comment he can candy the skins or slices of oranges with or without a dehydrator but the dehydrator speeds up the process quite a lot.
+William Brine A fun thing to do is carve apples into faces and dehydrate them. They look like tiny old people heads or shrunken heads.
I use the dehydrator for my dog and cats. I dehydrate chickenfilets and turkeyfilets. And chickenlevers and chickenharts. My dog and cats love it and I know what they are getting. And it is a lot cheaper then the snacks from a store.
I'm glad we get to see adorable "angry" Dooger instead of the probably-frightening actual-angry Dodger.
I started watching your videos about a week ago, I've known about you for ages but haven't had the time to check your channel out. I've only seen stuff with you on other people's channels. I wish I had checked you out sooner! There is just something about your videos that I absolutely love. There are also tortillas that are made from cactus. Like, if you see green tortillas at a store, it's likely that they may be made from a cactus.

i only know a few high end hotels that have valets, but hospitals having them seems really weird to me- but i guess thats because i live in England

Apple rings. Get an apple corer, core the apple, and then slice them into rings. They're yummy and chewy and sweet. Also, beef jerky. Best beef jerky I've ever had has come out of our dehydrator. It's rather hard though, texture wise, so if you prefer the softer jerkies out of the bags then you may not like the stuff that comes out of a dehydrator.

I'm pretty sure you can use that dehydrator to make awesome pigskin chips! Just remember you talking about them a long time back. Putting them in the dehydrator and then putting them shortly into a little tub og hot oil :3 It isn't very healthy, but I'm sure it tastes awesome ^-^

I am mostly on Dodger's side about the valet UNTIL I heard it was a hospital, parking has to be strict at hospitals because of emergency vehicles.

ever since i moved to LA as well there is this huge thing about raw foods and what not and I got a job working at this place that sells raw milk, and i was thinking well I can't drink it because bathroom myyah. So the owner tells me to at least try it so I can taste the difference and it turns out that this raw milk stuff does wonders for my stomach its crazy! So if maybe you are having a similar dairy issue you could totally try the stuff out
Blend soaked flax seed, soaked almonds, with bell peppers, pablano peppers, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano. They're like raw doritos. So bomb.
I have been thinking of dehydrating like veggies and herbs and stuff and essentially making my own ramen to take to work where all I have to do is add hot water.

Wow... Reminds me of the time someone tried to get free dippin dots from me, claiming her daughter dropped the dots they got from a stand I knew was closed. I asked her if she had the receipt and she says "Oh yeah, I'll go get it my friend has it." She walks away and I watch her walk to the other side of these bushes near me. Five minutes later, she, her friend and her daughter (who had a half eaten ice cream cone) walk past me and I just stare at the women until she was out of my eyesight. Guess she didn't have a receipt.
I was a valet at a hotel like 15 years ago. We had a "Fart for rude"-game - so people who where rude to us got a fart in their seat when we got them their car... it was the BEST game EVER! LOL
So I have been watching Dooger for probably OVER 5 years now. However. TH-cam recommended this vid to me and I had to watch it and enjoy old Doog :P Love ya if you ever see this and thank you so much for all of the amazing and wonderful content over the years

I agree with your mom...that person should NOT have that job...I worked vallet for a time and you dont act that way...your meant to be the first person someone sees when they enter and establishment...if its a resort you greet them with a smile and give them a sense of ejoyment...and if its a freaking hospital...then you show some sense of compassion

As a valet myself, I can't fathom the idea that he'd treat a customer like that. I'd be fired within seconds if I called the customer rude to their face.
