    Hey mate. I have been following your videos since the start and it is great to see the progress. I thought I'll let you know that you have been such an inspiration, so much so that I have started designing my own machine over the past few months and will probably kick off the build in the next month or so. I have ZERO pinball knowledge but am obsessed enough with Pinball to make it work. I have probably watched each video 2 - 3 times during the design to decide what, where and how. I just bought the new Foo Fighters machine and will use that as a guide, and feed my obsession of course, delivery is expected end June! It is my 1st ever machine as I could never afford one, but after 45 years of saving I have managed to scrape the pennies together. What you are doing here is awesome. These guides are so unique, and I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the awesome work. I can't wait to see the end product! Best of luck to you sir...

    Would be easy I would think to add a motion sensor to pinball machines that triggers attract mode.

    I'm really enjoying this series! Any chance you could do a Fusiuon360 full video tutorial on your process? Especially how you make your ramps, and the tabs you create to splice them together. Keep up the great work!

    When a player hits start, you should play a little light strip that demonstrates some of the basic ball paths. Lead your players eyes towards things like your ramps, the tunnels. Indicate where you want them to pay attention. then after they pull the plunger, they’ll want to try these shots, “hmm, where does this go, does it give me extra points, is this fast and fun or is it risky?”

      @thepinballroom  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I plan on doing something along those lines, each song mode will have a set of "bonus shots (combos really) that only last for a short time at the beginning of the mode and I'll be lighting those in sequential order - coupled with a slide on the display that will also walk through those shots so hopefully that will clear 🤞

    Another great video Steve! I'm trying to do the same thing with my attract show but the sub shows are playing at the same time and not in sequence. Any ideas?

      So if your shows are all playing at the same time, then you probably have them all under the same duration entry - at least that's what I'd check first. Your parent show will set the duration for each set of shows that you want playing at the same time - anything you want to play after, make a new duration entry and then call those shows within that duration period - let me know if that makes sense or not - if not, feel free to email me and we can talk more in depth ok? So there's no intensity value in your LEDs? Just colour?

    • @thepinballroom
      @thepinballroom  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, as far I can tell, the intensity is communicated through the RGB values you send MPF - I haven't come across a separate way to control brightness or intensity yet - not to say that there isn't tho...??

      @@thepinballroom LEDs are not currently dimmable for pinball machines. They would need electronic circuitry built into them to make this happen and I imagine it is not currently possible to make it small enough, or maybe it would simply make them cost too much.
