I just bought a 3 wood. I could rarely hit my stealth 2 3 wood, but when I bought the halo xl 3 wood today, i was hitting it in the fairway at 200-220yards. same yards as my driver. I’m a beginner golfer.
Why do so many people think these clubs are only for high handicappers? any handicap can play these and they will help your game. I think brand snobbery comes in to it. I’ve got the 2024 zip core launcher xl irons and they are fantastic, can’t go wrong with Cleveland. Hopefully more people see this video and start to look at getting them.
Cleveland and Srixon are owned by the same company and Srixon is making the best rated irons on the market. They are both using the same tech so they are both going to be great!
I was having a lot of problem with my 3 wood (Cobra LTDX)…I tried a Srixon ZX MK II 3 wood and I loved it…this club is the first 3 wood that I feel very comfortable hitting and was able to hit it off the deck really great…I would never have picked this club up, but someone that I played with recommended that I try this club…I’m glad I took his advice and I’m really hitting it great…
Hi Alex A very quick update on my previous message. I bought a new Halo XL 5 wood for £99 Inc head cover. Absolutely love it and it's replaced my older 3 wood too. Thank you 👍 Thank you Mike
Taylormade QI10 Tour lofted at 19° with a ½" longer shaft Driver replacement Taylormade mini driver, either loft but prefer the 13.5° lofted to 15.5° great tee option
Only people who don’t research clubs or brand snobs wouldn’t consider these , they are great , I use tbe previous generation and hit the 7 wood past my playing partners 3 woods , easy off deck or tee , and forgiving , srixon have similar in the zx but not as much spin , I’ve just ordered the new driver , and am considering upgrading to this gen fairways they’re that good .
My woods are 20+ years old (I think) but having watched this video and finding a new Halo XL 5 wood for £99 I have bought one. Really Looking forward to seeing how much difference the new technology makes. Of course if I can't hit the ball, it will obviously be your fault and not mine 😁
Cleveland 5 wood vs hywood vs hybird vs full face irons. Cleveland has me confused at this end of the bag with all it's similar offerings. Video could help.
I am thinking of getting the 3 wood but cut down to a 5 wood length with the Ventus red TR shaft or should i go with the 5 wood ? your thoughts ? cheers from Canada
I'm a high handicapper with a dicky back and have just traded in my Srixon ZX 3 wood for a Cleveland Halo XL 7 wood, and I can hit it a little further, a lot more often, but also straighter.
I really like my Adams Tightlies 5 wood. I had a complete set of Tightlies as my 1st set of clubs about 20 years ago, and I still have the 5 wood in my bag. It's just a great club.
I just couldn’t hit the 5 wood .have the 4 hy wood and 5 hybrid which are brilliant but found I could hit the callaway I smoke HL better but guess we all have different swings
In your other review, the +3 Hywood was better than this 5 wood. Why are you now reviewing the Hywood on course? Are you saying the 5 wood is more forgiving than the Hywood? Great review by the way.
You preferred the Cleveland Hywood compared to this 5 wood in prior videos, are you planning on doing a on course review of the Hywood? Suspect you’d get better results to the 5 wood.
Virtually the same as a cobra speed zone 5 Wood same glide rails, I took mine to compare it to the halo was very similar, cobra and Halo fairway woods and hybrids are pretty much the same
I ordered a 9 wood today, after having an older Cleveland fairway wood that I traded and regretted. Also, in the Cleveland family I bought the Srixon ZX4 irons last year and for my game it's the best most forgiving irons I have ever owned. Quality products, I do own Cobra aerojet 3 wood, 5 wood and 7 wood and have never hit my woods any better than with these fairway woods, so I'm anxious to see how the Cleveland 9 wood stacks up.

Like all modern woods, it's too big and made of the wrong materials. I'll stick to my old Titleists. You should see if you can find the holy grail, Tiger's thru-bore Titleist PT15. The 975F is my club of choice offering lofts of 14.5, 16.5, 18.5 and 20.5 degrees with an incredible 1025 carpenter steel face. Absolutely nothing made today can compete with the feel of these classics.
I'm confused. In your other video, where you compare the 5 wood vs the hy-wood 3+, you said you'd recommend avoiding this 5 wood. Now here you say it's the best wood of 2024, and in a reply to another comment you said that it's easier to hit than the hy-wood?
My new Cleveland Halo JUST arrived! I’m having some health issues and can’t try it out for about another month-can’t wait. I’m a senior male high handicapper, let’s see if it’s suitable.
*I never considered this brand before now when looking for a wood!! What do you think? Remember you control what I try next here on the channel!! ✌🏻*
No don't buy the driver, not that good to be honest, Halo hybrids are awesome very much a carbon copy of cobra king

The Cleveland sets are very good from beginner to mid handicap

Good point to be fair

Cleveland does have good product. I have a hybrid 5 and have considered the Halo as an additional option.

Got a full set of the previous XL Launchers, love them so nice to see Cleveland getting some recognition 👌

ive got the older Halo hyb4 and Hy-wood 3, very easy clubs, large faces for amateur
I am thinking of getting the 3 wood but cut down to a 5 wood length with the Ventus red TR shaft or should i go with the 5 wood ? your thoughts ? cheers from Canada
Alex, did you find this easier to hit than the Cleveland hy-woods you tested earlier?
Yeah
I’m Still playing my Cleveland launcher hb 5 wood from circa 2017. It’s just point and shoot.
I'm a high handicapper with a dicky back and have just traded in my Srixon ZX 3 wood for a Cleveland Halo XL 7 wood, and I can hit it a little further, a lot more often, but also straighter.
Class video…. Love the superstars 💙
I have a adams tightlies titanium 3 wood very rare club head is 15degrees head size is like a 5wood launch is effortless
I have Adam’s redline tight lies about 20 years old in 3,5,and 7 would never get rid of them. They are fantastic!

What’s the difference between
these and the Cleveland Halo XL HY woods? Shaft lengths?
Is the launcher HALO XL the hybrid version??
Great video
Please do a 5 wood comparison , the titanium ones against the normal ones
Please review the Cleveland driver and 7-wood. Thanks
I believe he already reviewed the driver.
I just couldn’t hit the 5 wood .have the 4 hy wood and 5 hybrid which are brilliant but found I could hit the callaway I smoke HL better but guess we all have different swings
Could you review some tour edge, hot launch products?
Yeah for sure
I am looking at the hybrid vs Ping. Ping has the slightly lighter option though and is adjustable. Cleveland has the better price 🎉
I love the Halo XL fairway 5 wood. Has anyone tried the Halo XL fw 7 or 9 wood?

Is it in your bag?
Easier to hit than driver for a beginner? I need to hit straight and long. Tree lines narrow.
Good golfers do not hit straight. They draw or fade .hitting straight is a fallacy
@@Les-i7e what's the fix? Precalculate the distance R and aim left?
@@Frank020 fix is simple to hit a draw place club 4 to 6 inches behind ball you will get an easy draw
