Dude this record was so hard to find back in the day. Heard about it from older kids but could never figure out how to spell Noothgrush. Finally found in on Napster (in '99, so I guess I wasn't that late) and my life was never the same.
I like hearing about how kids were getting music 20 30 40 50 years back.

The best thing about Noothgrush is that they play aggressve sludge but have loads of 80s doom influence with the dark melodic guitar lines. puts them above most other sludge bands IMO.

Heresy 1 Dino, drummer and vocalist in Dystopia, does vocals in Noothgrush.
Funny enough Noothgrush is the more recent with Dino only joining in the early 2000s. Earlier recordings are sin Dino, unfortunately.
Unfortunately?.. I love Dino in the band, but Gary had badass vocals...listen to the LIve for Nothing LP to hear them at their best.
Dino is also vocalist in carcinogen
they hated one another back in the day. Dino hated himself because he was in both bands, that's why the poetry in the bands are so bipolar, just because the beef between the two bands =)
90s and early 2000 Eastbay Punk / crust /metal bands were on a different level. So many gems from that fine time so many good shows..

Check out PostMortem’s Coroner’s Office from 1986 🇺🇸 Boston Massachusetts and particularly the song “I Want To Die” Okay and do not forget where ya were when you heard that legendary Lp; It was one of the first bands besides a few others like the Melvins or Kilslug doing doom stuff back in the day.
