Their best album for me. Don't get me wrong, I do love how they express themselves with their monotonous, minimalistic and visceral approach. But here they actually showed some musicianship as well. And that piano part at the end was fun.
The new come to grief isn’t bad! Not as much sludge and dropping into riffs, but it makes me hopeful for more like this. I hate the human race is my favorite
also "my name is god (i hate you)" from eyehategod's dopesick album is top notch imo. EHG is usually on it when it comes to first tracks tho, dopesick's opener just takes the cake cuz its so fuckin sick 😤

Reminds me a bit of Review Your Choices though I'd argue RYC looks cleaner. I appreciate anything similar to naïve art. Razor's drawn album covers are all like that too.
Anyone into this album should also check out the He’s No Good to Me Dead comp they were on. It includes 3 songs from that lineup. The other bands on the comp are Negative Reaction, Sour Vein, Sub Sanity, and Bongzilla. I had it on cd at one point but broke the cd by accident. ☹️ Come to Grief and this one are my favorites. 🤘🏻
Classic album, this takes the pure doom of Torso and adds some tempo changes and elements of other metal styles to keep things interesting. I can only imagine what they would sound like today if they stayed together with Jeff Hayward

Not quite as sludgy as their earlier releases,but Miserably ever after and this album are their 2 most " musical " albums in my opinion.........
