All good! Lots of good memories myself of RC plane retreivals. Gives an old boy the perfect excuse to climb a tree. Always an adventure. This channel rocks, thanks.
Brian, i cant even begin to tell you how much better i feel about my few tree "landings" and the seemingly endless futile efforts i made to retrieve my planes. And by few, i mean several. I actually hit the power lines in front of my In laws house last Thursday (Thanksgiving). It was directly accross the runway, i mean, road and id managed to miss it on the 3 previous take offs amd landings. But, the FMS PA18 1.3m is a little bit heavier with 4s 2700 than 2200... ripped the nose clean off. But, i used that opportunity to upgrade to an Avian 45amp esc and tore out the ReflexV2 for an AR 630. Easily repaired the nose eith Foam2Foam and toothpicks- thanks to lots of BPRC training videos!!! Now, ive got battery telemetry and thrust reverse and SAFE/AS3X awesomesauce!! So, thanks for showing us all of the gorey details - and the dam dam, too 👍
If i may touch on this as someone who has this plane. The asymetric stall is NASTY!! Upon further investigation of the main wing, there's 0 degrees of washout makes that stall MUCH worse than it otheriwse would be.. so in humble amateur opinion. Slight design flaw, OTHERWISE great plane! Great video as always! God bless sir!
Without your training (I think you're a great teacher) I wouldn't have any of the planes I have still flying 😅 being confident enough to repair and not throw away helps keep the hobby interesting and often they fly better, not sure why 😂
Hey Brian I’m looking into doing a motor swap with the FMS super cub looking to get more power out of it. So far I’ve been looking into the potenza 10 1400kv motor was wondering if you had any suggestions I should look at?
I'm terrible at sizing motors, to be totally fair, but when I DO size them, I cheat and look at other planes of similar size, then compare the ESC and Motor pairing. There's so much subjectivity with this skill, and I don't have enough to tell you one way or the other. Very sorry I'm of so little help!
Hi Brian. How does this when on 4S compare in speed with the Arrows Marlin 4S? Which one is more nippy and has better handling. I understand that they are completely different: size, flaps, 50mm vs 64mm etc.
I bought an extension pole from Menards I think it’s 6ft or 7tf fully extended. I’ve used it to get planes out of trees more time than I’d like to admit. If you’re not crashing , you’re not flying hard enough 😂
Last time I got stuck in a tree it took me over a week and 6 20ft pieces of bamboo, lol I learned a valuable lesson, never fly in high wind especially if you're a noob pilot like me lol
kind sir: the kind of content you create can never be replaced by ai. You know why? Well, think of all the thousands of soul-less creators on the intertubes that pump out drivel content, their content is indistinguishable from AI because both are soul-less. And that is the difference between you and AI. AI has no soul, but your content is your lived experience. It is fundamentally human. It cannot be machine learned, nor can it be replaced algorithmically with mathematical series of 1's and 0's. TLDR: your content is raw, authentic, fundamentally human. TH-cam will try to replace you with ai generated content, but they will fail. Fly on! my man! Fly on And enjoy the joy from the experience that is the human experience of flying. Fly on my man!
Yes, I do, and it worked well enough - LOL...kinda... ...but funny you should say this, since the RCHackers have ripped us off - they owe us a payment, and are literally years delinquent. We've been trying to figure out how to get them to respond to us, but they're evidently just a dirtball company that doesn't keep it's promises. Fortunatelly, whoever was making their batteries was doing a pretty good job for them...but I BET they're in collections with all their suppliers too. I, for the life of me, can't figure out why people don't just make right on their deals. It's not that hard to communicate, either, even when things don't work out. We are big believers on doing what you say you're going to do. Sorry to share this bummer with you, but it was ironic because we were just talking about them last night, Megan and I.
That's rc flying truth. Actual flying is about 5% of the time invested possibly lower. Thx B&M. Your property is perfect for fpv drones. Maybe one day?
Viper is absolutely a better flying rig 4s 2200mAh 5 minutes with moderate throttle put the skids on the bottom for asphalt or pavement landing without damaging the fuselage Best and i mean best bang for the buck period
What kind of glue is “China” glue? I use gorilla glue the kind that expands so it penetrates far into the foam for a super strong bond. You have to tape the parts up tight otherwise the glue will push them apart and deform it. It is a bummer crashing but rewarding after you learn you can resurrect a wrecked plane. “Resurrect a wreck”. Good title for you to use on a dedicated repair video. Teach us diferent glues for diferent repairs, do heat treating to re-expand crushed foam, repair flaps with hinge tape…
I love them all, but the Avanti, for me came days after we did the 70mm from FMS, which is AMAZING, so it seemed way too lame in close comparison. I think the 50mm EDF lineup from Arrows are all good, but everyone is gonna have favorites.
You had me as soon as i saw crash and repair in the title. Making it real!!

Totally! Love digging in to nature...if it weren't for chasing my toys, I'd see a lot less of it, so it's a great "problem" to have ;)

If you are in this hobby long enough, it WILL HAPPEN to you. Unless you fly in the desert that is. Nice job guys!
Without your training (I think you're a great teacher) I wouldn't have any of the planes I have still flying 😅 being confident enough to repair and not throw away helps keep the hobby interesting and often they fly better, not sure why 😂
Hey Brian, camera crew is getting pretty knowledgeable with these planes... lol...that's a good thing!!!
great job Brian lol . I love your shows

One of your more graphic videos with the stick up the thrust tube!
is it the servo wire or is it the battery lead? "Yes" hahahaha
I'm glad you caught that - LOL!!! ;)
exactly ;)

Yes she is in the top 2 as the best
Yep 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hello, can you please make a review of the A290 F16 wltoys radio-controlled fighter?
Want one of these some day, looking for a used one on marketplace

good job
You could take some rock crawlers into the dam area for some good fun 🤩

Hi Brian , hacker's may be a bit pissed, remember the Voodoo in purple You did try to burn it. Literally. I want a hawk. But i love the Voodoo..007.

We've already done it ;) th-cam.com/play/PLXTH0DstRDc5LUMD4bUSIEOnxW1Lno9v2.html

Svp, arrêtez de renifler sans arrêt, c est épouvantable !!
I just asked my wife to get me several sticks of shame for Christmas. Brian , do you sell these ? Ha-Ha
10 minute flight for an edf? Wow

hey....its been a couple of months ago but purchased batteries from rc hacker....i had no issue with ordering or shipment.
I like the 50mm Viper way better. BAE Hawk is 2nd place The T-33 50mm i think is the crappiest 1.

First?
Call it a Hawk, or if you want to go the full manufacturer and name; then it's the B.A.E. Hawk. It is NOT the Bayhawk. Thank you Brian.
yes, I've heard a few thousand times, trying to correct my bad behavior...It's like U-S-A, vs YOUSA - LOL ;)
Bro shut up. It ain't that serious
