  • In Australia, the presence of wild boar, commonly referred to as feral pigs, poses significant challenges to the farming community, resulting in multifaceted impacts on agricultural productivity. These animals, due to their invasive nature, disrupt farmland through rooting and wallowing, leading to soil erosion, damage to crops, and the destruction of native vegetation.

    They aren't 'wild boars' - they're 'feral pigs' in Australia, made up of boars and sows. Most of your footage wasn't even in Australia but grabbed from other videos filmed in the U.S.A. and possibly Turkey.

    • @tony98discovery

    • @heyfitzpablum
      @heyfitzpablum 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tony98discovery In the USA rifles are barely regulated and shotguns not regulated at all, the only prohibition being fully automatic firearms. Handguns require a locally obtained permit to OWN in most states, to CARRY a handgun in daily activity requires a more stringent permit. Local Police issue the permits, after conducting a criminal history search. Contrary to popular belief, gun crime is very rare in the burbs, small towns and country-it is prevalent in the inner cities and most often involves drugs, gangs and organized crime figures. As for the wild boars, they are a big problem in the USA as well and encroaching on inhabited areas. I have no issues culling the herds by hunters, but hopefully some positive use can be made of the meat. If nothing else, the bodies need to be buried and covered in lime, so they don't attract predators and rodents.

      Having seen them, I've often wondered if they may be developed for military use, or in this case, as pest exterminators. The quadrupedal ones seem pretty adept at covering all kinds of terrain. Shooting and trapping alone seems to be a losing battle. There has been speculation that robots may well replace soldiers in some situations, so why not for animal control ?@@tony98discovery
