Because of BTS it feels like we are in a huge art class with this comeback. Not only are they great artists and people but they are great professors. Teaching us so most with this comeback especially people who don’t know anything about art or never been into art, including me
This prelude song is a confession that BTS delivers as an artist. The first English subtitle of art film is Martha Graham's saying, 'The dancer dies twice. The first death is when the dancer stops dancing.' "This death is much more painful." "Brack swan" was inspired by Martha Graham's sayings. As the dancer dies in his first death, as a dancer, when he is no longer on stage as an artist, BTS says that the more music I play through the 'brack swan', the more I'm going to die if the music doesn't impress me or tremble, but every time my voice is deep inside Paradoxically, the moment I hear the Black Swan inside me, I only have music. This is about deeply conveying the confession as an artist who has worn out and truly knows what music means to her through mature and autobiographical lyrics.

@@claranguyen2738 This is more than just an album release is whole project where BTS want to show the different kind of arts there is and give opportunity to other artists such as this dance company supporting the art installation in 5 different cities to show art that people seem to not care about anymore they're doing a good thing. Therefore Jimin wasn't in this dance because of that probably to give other people the chance to shine and show their talent.

ohh the way Jerry hit it on the nail, they didnt give us a name or promo for the video for that exact reason of wanting to showcase the message in the video. They had layered over their verses and distorted it so they can sound as one. The video based off of lyrics and shadow are talking about the possibilty of them not not having the love & excitememt for music anymore. That coicides with the girst quote. how losing the live of dance is a first death to many. Basically embodying the name of the album. wait cause why both of the versions hithdhdh 😭🖐 The dance is so captivating and fits the tone & essence of the song perfectly even the upbeat version. bts are different!! Definitely not in a specific box

Blown away by your analysis. No one is talking about this but it could very well also be a nod to them being a kpop group trying to breakout of that cage but others/haters keeps pigeon holing them as a kpop in a derogatory way. In the end, they finally broke out and flying high. Great observation.

it appears to me that for most commenters, the general consensus was that with this video and their singing in somewhat a different genre unheard of in Kpop, BTS has become more than just Kpop. It's classical pop and something else if you will.

Thanks for your reaction, people after their watch this art film have their diff opinion and some are out of idea, bts is not just there to sing and dance they want to deliver their music in different way that can connect to listeners. BTS is actually working with multiple people who have different media's of art, so adding a violin for their performance was such a good idea because a violin can really hit hard when you have a beautiful visual.

I could tell you guys got SO emotional over this, and I just can't express my... relief? Gratitude? There's such an immense satisfaction in seeing just how much you guys caught. From the basis of the storyline to the effects they manipulated to the dance itself. BTS is truly in a league ALL their own.

this song is about their fears that what if one day music will no longer be able to move or touch them, they’re afraid that what if one day they might lose passion for music. the quotes says “a dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful" the painful first death that they’re talking about is losing passion for music and art.
I was in tears watching it the 3rd time, cuz the first time I was mind blown, I didn’t know how to react but after I read the lyrics and watched it the 3rd time just to feel. I was soooo Moved

these amazing men went out of their comfort zone just to show us and deliver a message that will last in our hearts forever.
we now have a glimpse of their fame, how hard their jobs is as artist to not only entertain their given audience but also to live the life of hardship and endure the wreck it fame may bring.
this is a new aspect also of interpreting their song through a wonderfully crafted dance.
I'm just lost with words on the theories and many other messages they want to let us understand, but I do know they have a longer story to tell ahead this year. and I can't wait to be a part of it.

Those who were dancing with the man were trying to catch him and not letting him move in his comfort. Then these lights were in the form of a prison and he tried to get out of him as they brought him back inside.
And then he ran away from them and went down and then they caught up with him, but this time they were with him and carried him trying to fly, I mean, he changed their minds and made them support him
The people who were dancing with him represented fears and anxiety
And the words of the song say do your things with me now

When you watch BTS reaction to this video, you realize they had nothing to do with this. They are just as amazed by it as the masses. It showed their company was behind this specific concept. Wouldn't surprise me if it was Bang PD, himself! BTS is really the whole company!
