as a console player I'd love each team's marketing department come up with three or four liveries with one being randomly selected at the start of each career/my team career just to mix it up
One thing I have noticed, compared to similar videos 6 ish years ago - all the "easy wins" have been added now. Think R&D, Formation laps, Driver transfers, F2, MyTeam, ect - all big additions that were easy to market as new and therefore a clear cut improvement on the year before. I feel like Red flags was the last one, now need either improvemts or revamps of things rather than whole new addition P.S This is by no means a defense of the EA era, just been watching long enough to notice the change.
One thing I still don't understand why they don't allow us to do is a custom calendar, and I mean 100% custom, as in the order of the races, it's always that 24 races, 16 races and 10 races where you can't change anything. That would already bring something new to the game, and it is such a simple thing to do.
Because the track owners pay alot of money on the contracts to have their grand prix weekends held at a certain time in the year. So obviously it wouldn't be possible to change that. It's very unfortunate but it is what it is ig.
#10 would be pretty implementable if the teams would support it. You could get car parts that were thrown in the bin by the teams. For example: front wings from Ferrari that they discarded. If it's 3-4 per piece, that's not too bad.
Another thing that's needed is actually improving the driver market. It's insane how limited the market is in the game. Add all the reserve drivers that teams have (e.g: Bottas as Mercedes reserve, Colapinto as Alpine reserve) and any affiliates. Also what's the point of releasing an updated F2 driver lineup patch every year, only to have them locked behind grand prix mode. They spend all that time scanning guys like Antonelli, Bortoleto, etc and they can't even add them to the driver market in career mode.
I think they need to add being a test/reserve driver like they had in champs edition (2006) and you could obviously do tests but maybe they could add a simulator mechanic so players can still do races if they wish
For me, the transfers don't even work. Each time it gets to renewing the contract or hiring a new teammate it doesn't let me do anything so i end up restarting the game and the contract automatically renews. I'm stuck with my teammate forever 🤷♂️
I always loved the idea that there are actual Regulation changes. Just Imagine after 2 or 3 Seasons, you have reg change and go to like the 2021 Cars or something, to like give the classic cars an actual importance in the game would be so cool
A very simple thing they could add for driver carreer is simply giving the ability to do the F2 (or F3 if they implement it) season of that game while simulating the F1 season, and you could be offered a seat by teams in transfers rather than just choosing who to replace. For example in F1 24, you would play the 2024 F2 season while the 2024 F1 season is simulated, and if you win the title you could get an offer from a team like Red Bull if Perez didn't perform well enough. They could also increase the chance of having offers from teams of your academy. Maybe even allow us to swap in during the season or just for a race because the main driver is ill, and that would increase your chance of getting offers. If you didn't perform good enough, you could just do another season of F2.
I think the press conferences and the paddock overall is my key thing I would improve, they have always said that the career mode is made to give you the most real life experience of what it’s like to be an F1 Driver and we have seen it sporadically but they have never really tried to fully do it, even if it meant the ability from our driver to walk from the motor home to the garage to be able to start the first practice session of the weekend for example, or being able to walk to do press duties.
If they cared just a little bit about us they’d make the AI have traits, so if you battle Alonso he’s gonna be very clean but also extremely well calculated, but then if you battle Tsunoda he’s more likely to do a wild dive bomb and punt you off, surely that wouldn’t be very difficult for them to do
If they were to add a progression system it would be great if it was not just for 1 season. For example it could be that if you win F3 you would have a guaranteed place in F2 next season and if you come second, it would be a 75% chance of getting an F2 seat and so on. The same in F2 however the chances are slightly lower. It would also be cool to add a reserve driver role that you could take and do 1 or 2 FP1 sessions a season before getting a full time seat. I don’t see this happening any time soon but it would bring me back to the f1 games if it did.
I agree with the RD part. 2 seasons of manager no tech rule changes, all cars were close to 100%, doing sick qualifying times 5-6 sec faster than real life (1:15 in monza, 1:26 in COTA etc). Then suddenly a 70% drop in performance next season, back to the 1:40's in Bahrain... F1 can learn a lot from the manager. But remember, a lot of people play F1 for fun, for tech people play manager!
They should bring back the old racetracks like Estoril, Brands Hatch, Jerez, as well as the tracks in the older games like Korea, India, Hockenheim, and the Nürburgring, and be able to put in these tracks into your own calendar in Career mode, Grand Prix, and time trial. That would be amazing.
The AI in F1 23 was absolutely disgusting. You can’t race wheel to wheel with the AI because they always back off. When you are side by side with the AI then they slow down and back off (always). Everyone wants an AI that they can have fun battles with, being side by side for multiple corners and aggressive moves from the AI. That would be amazing

What leaves me impressed is thinking that EA is going to fix something that it itself broke... EA is a cemetery of franchises, it ended with FIFA/EA Sports FC and the Formula 1 franchise was a consequence and many people predicted the obvious Back in 2020, when Codemasters was sold to EA... That prediction came true, EA destroyed Codemasters' years of work.
Historical career/my team would be great! Racing in the late 80's and 90's, up to 2020. It would be fantastic and it would possibly bring back a lot of players.
I posted this on your other F1 25 video, but it was like 3 weeks after it came out so no one saw it. I’d like to be realistic in what’s gonna come, but most of these ideas are stemming from Madden, College Football, and EAFC 1. As you said, driver transfer settings or a database would be great 2. Coming from the NHL and Madden games, being able to download rosters (or lineups in this case) would be great too, if someone wants to recreate Aaravas season 3 or the 2022 season (with some drivers replaced obviously as they can’t get rights to Latifi or any of that) then we should have that option 3. Creation center, a website online like for what they have in Madden and CFB where you can create liveries, driver suits, helmets, and all that using logos and stuff they’ve supplied and have it available for download, that way, it’ll enable creativity but also slow down mods (which will suck for creators but EA hates mods) 4. Driver relations: one of the only good things about 704s Nascar games and 21 Ignition was that you could have relationships with the drivers, adding on to what you said it would be great if you know as a rookie invite Jack Doohan or one of my teammates or an old F2 teammate or a engineer or someone in the team out to dinner or to go to a sports event with and it would build our relationship, like if I go out to dinner with Kimi Antonelli he’ll be much more friendlier to me on track, obviously it wouldn’t be a main buying factor but be like investments in EAFC player career, just have more immersion 5. I agree with the ia not being able to overtake. In my Martins career I managed to win a race in an alpine with 90 ia (which the maximum I can compete against) because they were just following eachother.
I'm gonna say it agai, I would like to see the front/rear wing change when you take more or less downforce, It's not realistic seeing cars on monza with a big rear wing...., also let us change the fom chassis in my team with multiple rear/ front wings and sidepods. would really mix things up!
My ideas: 1. Custom Calendar in Both Driver AND My Team. 2. Upgrades in Grand Prix Mode where you can Instantly max out all teams. (And Custom Team Performance as well.) 3. Custom Driver Transfers, Engine Sounds, Tyre Supplier Selection, Custom Liveries/Team Names as well in Grand Prix as well as career mode. 4. Custom Power Unit supplier. 5. Game to be moddable on Consoles as well. 6. Power Failures, Beached in the Gravel once a car gets into it, Car fires during an Engine Failure, Crash, Tire blowouts, Flameouts but the same way the WGP Racers exploded in Cars 2 including myself, At the end of a Grand Prix title save, The World champion will do donuts like we see in Career mode. 7. Penalty systems to be more strict, Michelin Mod Tyres to be More Durable, Have more grip, And faster than Pirelli, F1 World FOM Car to be modded, I will give it a custom Livery in the form of Lamborghini, Naming my FOM Team *AAR-Lamborghini* 8. The ai bit, I can understand you're coming from. But I also think with some add spice, I like the ai to have more mistakes when it comes to rain. You know, more spins, lock ups, so many to make it look more realistic to the real life of F1. Maybe even put in some pre-testing events also in real life too just to make the experience more enjoyable rather than just get straight in your debut season, imo
16:38 surprisingly, Lee Mather has already spoken about this and said Formula 3 will at some point come to the F1 game and they have been playing around with it. When the F2 24 season dropped the campos crew suits were actually the suits for the F3 team with all the F3 championship logos so… maybe this year
I’d actually suggest each upgrade the chassis actually changes and not just every season. So that we could feel more immersed. In f1 manager i’d also suggest the same thing since upgrade system in f1 manager is so in depth, in addition i’d want f1 manager to allow players to when managing an ai team, to change the livery. The lack of ability to change real life team’s livery on the car is sad

Would love seeing more retirements, I’m in season 5 of MyCareer and Alonso, Hamilton, Hulkenberg & Perez are still around. The grid changes lots, it’d be nice to see that in game. Pegging off that, would also love seeing ratings fluctuate more. Like, if Verstappen has a bad season he drops from 96 to 92 and if Magnussen does good he can go from 80 to like 83 and so on, therefore young drivers develop and don’t just stay at 70-something.
They could add when you finish a f3 or f2 season it should have an option of stick with f3 or f2 if you feel like you're not ready to take on the bigger leagues
If you expect EA to do anything to improve a game for any reason other then profit, unfortunately you are mistaken. If you want EA to add any of these features, get a competitor to add them first!
I was thinking about licensing real aero package builders like LOLA did for F1, LMP, Indy and many more. I can't think of anyone else from the top of my head but there are other companies that just build aero packages and sell them to smaller teams who don't have the facilities. we could build on that and implement what Aarava said with a few variations of aero pieces you can build yourself after a few seasons when you can purchase your own factories and personal. ❤❤❤
Going off of what you said about adding f3 and progression, what if they added something nascar heat did where you can own and drive for your team but then add something something like f1 manager if you didn't want to drive in the lower series
They should add a mod hub in the game, kind of like the place where you get liveries in gran turismo. The mod hub would allow console players to download some mods
Another thing i would like to see with R&D alongside what you said would be the ability for uprade to potentially make the car worse due to it not being compatible with another aspect of the car. E.g. upgrade the front wing for more aero in high speed corners, but it doesn't work due to the rear wing not being suitable for it or areo changes dont work due to how the floor is upgraded. Also i would like to see setups be affected by the natural characteristics of the car. E.g. be limited by top speed even at 0-0 wings due to the natrual drag your car produces.
I do think another great feature would to have a better character customization similar to EA FC instead of having the same characters each time. I do notice as well that most of the features of EA FC Career mode would be really good addition to the future F1 Games

you nailed it on the head with all of these, at this point EA should be contacting you to lead the project, between what youve done on careers and f1 manager youre more than qualified to lead a project like this.
The ai just needs to be more agressive. The reason for training is because ai doesent slow each other down due to battling. They almost always overtake in the straights meaning they all just keep drs leading to trains
I'd really like to be able to set a year you start your career - ideally any year in the history of F1 - and then play through a career seeing how the rules and cars change year by year.
My Team career idea You play as the principal. Like genuinely, you hire two drivers to be your team. And before each race you just decide which driver you play that weekend. Another mode idea entirely. Have a sim mode like, be able to play any driver any team. Just pick a driver you'll play that weekend and play through seasons, decide transfers during the season/off season. Just like a sandbox you can play with for years. Like a My NBA thing

I wouldn’t mind them also adding f1 manager style facility upgrades. Especially the cost aspect. Having to sacrifice half a season’s worth of car upgrades to boost their effect is a great idea in my opinion. Also having upgrades cost money instead of RnD points, so you may have to sacrifice the cars performance to obtain a contract with the driver you want to sign. Or maybe getting a driver like gasly, who is decent, but then you can give him a much better car. I would love to see them implement some of these ideas Edit: also re-implement a 2018/19 style contract system. I liked that system but I don’t know how others felt about it.
If we get a driver database to change drivers in any team, it needs to include F2 drivers, but also reserve drivers as well, allow to take stroll out of Aston finally and put Drugovich or Crawford in instead for example
May sound unnecessary, but I think the ability to spectate races after retirement or just have your driver become an AI for a session or weekend (while still seeing it live) would be nice. Sometimes I just feel really lazy and still wanna progress with the career with realistic results instead of the mediocre and predictable simulation results.
My main gripe with the F1 games is Durability always being useless, because the player never has to invest in durability you catch up and get to the front of the grid in a season or 2, I want a reason to actually use resources on durability. I know people will probably get around this by taking all new parts for one race but it should also impact (maybe a toggle/slider) engine failures wing failures was failures and so on, for the people who actually want something like this it’s important.
Also with customisation, for for console versions they should implement some sort of MotoGP system as the customisation in MotoGP games are phenomenal, and the ability to download stickers to helmet s and outfits and liveries, so if u drive for red bull, then you can download red bull sponsor stickers on console versions
Aaravas annual plea to EA and Codies to add stuff to the game, some realistic some not as far as the game actually being able to ever do some of things. I've learned with many years of gaming is we get what they put out and some are happy some are not and you either play it or you don't. With all the gripes, pleas, and complaining and nothing ever changes is what I've come to expect with the gaming industry. No game will ever be perfect and I've learned to get what i can from a game and try not to get angry when it wasnt what i expected because 9 times out of 10 its not even close to what I think it should be. Just try to enjoy what is given and keep sending complaints or we all need to boycott and see what happens
I really would like them to do something similar to the Forza online liveries where people can design them and then you download them yourself on console. Being able to just visually spice things up would be a mega improvement.
F3 is honestly a waste of resources if you ask me but here's what I really want is races to be truly dynamic and by that I mean the races to feel different each year ln the same track, I'm talking different tear wear rate and different track contrast, have this race this be like 3 stops as the quickest and next year be 1 and you have to so practice programs to know the best strategy, I feel like this is so easily to implement...give different drag values on each track on different years.

Also keep in mind they didn't even bother with the in-season driver transfer with Colapinto & Lawson like they did in previous years.

We can choose of create designs we can choose for the f1 car. So it looks different in many designs. And do decals and sponsors and free placements

Driver relations: one of the only good things about 704s Nascar games and 21 Ignition was that you could have relationships with the drivers, adding on to what you said it would be great if you know as a rookie invite Jack Doohan or one of my teammates or an old F2 teammate or a engineer or someone in the team out to dinner or to go to a sports event with and it would build our relationship, like if I go out to dinner with Kimi Antonelli he’ll be much more friendlier to me on track, obviously it wouldn’t be a main buying factor but be like investments in EAFC player career, just have more immersion
5. More than 1 season in F2 and more than 10 seasons in F1: self explanatory really

I agree with the ia not being able to overtake. In my Martins career I managed to win a race in an alpine with 90 ia (which the maximum I can compete against) because they were just following eachother.
I'm gonna say it agai, I would like to see the front/rear wing change when you take more or less downforce, It's not realistic seeing cars on monza with a big rear wing...., also let us change the fom chassis in my team with multiple rear/ front wings and sidepods. would really mix things up!

Power Failures, Beached in the Gravel once a car gets into it, Car fires during an Engine Failure, Crash, Tire blowouts, Flameouts but the same way the WGP Racers exploded in Cars 2 including myself, At the end of a Grand Prix title save, The World champion will do donuts like we see in Career mode.
7. Penalty systems to be more strict, Michelin Mod Tyres to be More Durable, Have more grip, And faster than Pirelli, F1 World FOM Car to be modded, I will give it a custom Livery in the form of Lamborghini, Naming my FOM Team *AAR-Lamborghini*

The ai bit, I can understand you're coming from. But I also think with some add spice, I like the ai to have more mistakes when it comes to rain. You know, more spins, lock ups, so many to make it look more realistic to the real life of F1. Maybe even put in some pre-testing events also in real life too just to make the experience more enjoyable rather than just get straight in your debut season, imo

I’d actually suggest each upgrade the chassis actually changes and not just every season. So that we could feel more immersed. In f1 manager i’d also suggest the same thing since upgrade system in f1 manager is so in depth, in addition i’d want f1 manager to allow players to when managing an ai team, to change the livery. The lack of ability to change real life team’s livery on the car is sad

Would love seeing more retirements, I’m in season 5 of MyCareer and Alonso, Hamilton, Hulkenberg & Perez are still around. The grid changes lots, it’d be nice to see that in game.
Pegging off that, would also love seeing ratings fluctuate more. Like, if Verstappen has a bad season he drops from 96 to 92 and if Magnussen does good he can go from 80 to like 83 and so on, therefore young drivers develop and don’t just stay at 70-something.
They could add when you finish a f3 or f2 season it should have an option of stick with f3 or f2 if you feel like you're not ready to take on the bigger leagues

If you expect EA to do anything to improve a game for any reason other then profit, unfortunately you are mistaken. If you want EA to add any of these features, get a competitor to add them first!
I was thinking about licensing real aero package builders like LOLA did for F1, LMP, Indy and many more.
I can't think of anyone else from the top of my head but there are other companies that just build aero packages and sell them to smaller teams who don't have the facilities.
we could build on that and implement what Aarava said with a few variations of aero pieces you can build yourself after a few seasons when you can purchase your own factories and personal.

Going off of what you said about adding f3 and progression, what if they added something nascar heat did where you can own and drive for your team but then add something something like f1 manager if you didn't want to drive in the lower series
They should add a mod hub in the game, kind of like the place where you get liveries in gran turismo. The mod hub would allow console players to download some mods
Different rear wings for different tracks would be easy to do. Slim for low downforce etc
Another thing i would like to see with R&D alongside what you said would be the ability for uprade to potentially make the car worse due to it not being compatible with another aspect of the car. E.g. upgrade the front wing for more aero in high speed corners, but it doesn't work due to the rear wing not being suitable for it or areo changes dont work due to how the floor is upgraded.
Also i would like to see setups be affected by the natural characteristics of the car. E.g. be limited by top speed even at 0-0 wings due to the natrual drag your car produces.

I do think another great feature would to have a better character customization similar to EA FC instead of having the same characters each time.
I do notice as well that most of the features of EA FC Career mode would be really good addition to the future F1 Games

The ai just needs to be more agressive. The reason for training is because ai doesent slow each other down due to battling. They almost always overtake in the straights meaning they all just keep drs leading to trains

My Team career idea
You play as the principal.
Like genuinely, you hire two drivers to be your team.
And before each race you just decide which driver you play that weekend.
Another mode idea entirely.
Have a sim mode like, be able to play any driver any team. Just pick a driver you'll play that weekend and play through seasons, decide transfers during the season/off season.
Just like a sandbox you can play with for years. Like a My NBA thing

I wouldn’t mind them also adding f1 manager style facility upgrades. Especially the cost aspect. Having to sacrifice half a season’s worth of car upgrades to boost their effect is a great idea in my opinion. Also having upgrades cost money instead of RnD points, so you may have to sacrifice the cars performance to obtain a contract with the driver you want to sign. Or maybe getting a driver like gasly, who is decent, but then you can give him a much better car. I would love to see them implement some of these ideas
Edit: also re-implement a 2018/19 style contract system. I liked that system but I don’t know how others felt about it.

May sound unnecessary, but I think the ability to spectate races after retirement or just have your driver become an AI for a session or weekend (while still seeing it live) would be nice. My main gripe with the F1 games is Durability always being useless, because the player never has to invest in durability you catch up and get to the front of the grid in a season or 2, I want a reason to actually use resources on durability.
I know people will probably get around this by taking all new parts for one race but it should also impact (maybe a toggle/slider) engine failures wing failures was failures and so on, for the people who actually want something like this it’s important.
Also with customisation, for for console versions they should implement some sort of MotoGP system as the customisation in MotoGP games are phenomenal, and the ability to download stickers to helmet s and outfits and liveries, so if u drive for red bull, then you can download red bull sponsor stickers on console versions

Aaravas annual plea to EA and Codies to add stuff to the game, some realistic some not as far as the game actually being able to ever do some of things. I've learned with many years of gaming is we get what they put out and some are happy some are not and you either play it or you don't. With all the gripes, pleas, and complaining and nothing ever changes is what I've come to expect with the gaming industry. No game will ever be perfect and I've learned to get what i can from a game and try not to get angry when it wasnt what i expected because 9 times out of 10 its not even close to what I think it should be. Just try to enjoy what is given and keep sending complaints or we all need to boycott and see what happens

I really would like them to do something similar to the Forza online liveries where people can design them and then you download them yourself on console. Being able to just visually spice things up would be a mega improvement.
F3 is honestly a waste of resources if you ask me but here's what I really want is races to be truly dynamic and by that I mean the races to feel different each year ln the same track, I'm talking different tear wear rate and different track contrast, have this race this be like 3 stops as the quickest and next year be 1 and you have to so practice programs to know the best strategy, I feel like this is so easily to implement...give different drag values on each track on different years.
