@superstar_h_gamer5211 imho Max, Leclerc and Russell are all up there in terms of raw pace and racecraft. I rate them all very highly, with the only differences between them three being the experience in fighting at the front. Max being the luckiest of them all to be joining "Max Verstappen F1 Team" in his second F1 season and fight with the best since 2016, while Russell has been notoriously unlucky by dominating everyone in F2, only to be driving the worst possible cars in F1 for the next three seasons; being completely fucked by Mercedes' strategy team and pit crew multiple times in the same race replacing Hamilton in the W11 when easily going for his first win; AND THEN joining the most dominant team in the turbo-hybrid era, with 8 consecutive constructors titles, at the worst possible time to drive yet another 3 years some very quirky and unbalanced F1 machines against the statistical GOAT AND WINNING against him two out of three seasons head-to-head, 695 points vs. 697 points overall. I predict that Leclerc will win the title this year while Russell will make a run for everyone's money come 2026.
I've got a feeling Bortoleto is unfairly got low expectations from fans? He's back to back F3/F2 champ. As much as Hadjar's team radio annoys me, he's pretty rapid on track and he actually set better lap times in the Abu Dhabi test compared to Tsunoda. I think Tsunoda will come out on top during the season but I would not be surprised if Hadjar had a few moments next year where he makes Tsunoda look average.
Sure Hulk will have to adapt to a new team but Bortoleto will have to adapt to F1 itself. It's not impossible that he beats the German but I went with Hulk 6.

I'll attempt to eat a P1 beanie if Lewis finishes the season with more points than Charles.
I don't think Hadjar will be the only team mate Yuki dominates this year. I'll give him till silverstone.
Will Arvid have the superlicence points by then?
If Arvid wins Formula Regional Oceania which he likely will, he'll have 43 points I reckon - would have to wait until August when he turns 18 to get the superlicence.
@@hurronivich2652 He gets the second half of the season then 🤣 He's got to do well though, Red Bull are running out of kids to ruin
Honestly Lindblad is the only junior Red Bull have or have had since Max/Carlos that I have good faith that they will deliver. If Arvid doesn't deliver, then Red Bull are cooked
@@hurronivich2652Doesn't he only need to get 3rd to get enough points?
Borteleto did the Leclerc/Russel/Piastri and won F3 and F2 both in his first year. So the team mate duel with Hulk could be closer than we think, even though I agree that Hulk will most likely win it, at least in the first season. However, if the Sauber is as bad as last season and both get almost always 0 points like Bottas and Zhou, a freak P9 or P10 once could already make the difference.
I thought George lost in Gp3 to leclerc?
@greenfj1466 Lerclerc won in 2016 and Russell in 2017. They didn't race in the same year in GP3.
@@sebastiandierks7919 then it must've been before GP3 but I know it was after karting
@@greenfj1466 George raced Leclerc for a year in F3. George did two years in F3, in the first year he finished 6th [Leclerc was 4th, Stroll was 5th, Rosenqvist was 1st], second year he finished 3rd, with about half the points of Stroll who won and 56 points off 2nd. After this, for the 2017 campaign, he transitioned over to GP3 where he won. Lando graduated to F3 in 2017 which he won, which is why they were competing with each other in the 2018 F2 championship. 2018 was the last season that GP3 and F3 were separate series, with the two merging into FIA F3.
Lewis either is destroyed by Charles or wins the championship, no in between
Gasly 10/10 over Doohan.. seems like everyone thinks young Jack will be out of the seat by the summer, I hope he shows something early. and Lance Stroll should go and play tennis
Hulkenburg, Sainz, Tsunoda, Bearman, Gasly, Alonso, Russel, Verstappen, Leclerc, Norris
It would be typical Ferrari if Leclerc & Hamilton have a championship battle, resulting in Verstappen or Norris becomming the champion.
Tommy out here throwing for content.
Sainz with 9 confidence over Albon? Come on.
too high or too low, hopefully for my albias it's too high
yeah we need Tommo F1 in here now,
@@foryousten he doesn’t have that bad takes 😂
Hell yea, a new vid i can listen to while cooking 🥰 I am starved for good F1 content man, gimme the new season gimme gimme gimme!
I’m starting to get so pumped for the 2025 season
Just starting?
I've been excited for '25 since Hamilton signed Ferrari
Doing some model building while listening, and your Adrian Newey "Why are you cutting that up?" caused me to drop my tools lol
Rank the teams in order of most F'ups (strategy/pit stops)... or driver pairings in terms of tension/fisticuffs...
1-5 would’ve made a lot more sense than 1-10
Lando 7, Charles 9, Max 10, George 10, Fernando 10, Pierre 10, Esteban 3, Yuki 9, Sainz 8, Nico 4
I would say Charles 7 and Nico 6. The rest i agree with
@@norbertjanssen814 my logic for Nico is the Kubica Russell quirk could happen with a backmarker team, whilst the flexiwings that Lewis rly struggled with last year on the Merc will be new for Ferrari this year so unless he is able to get a hang of them this time round, he'll struggle like he did in the second half of last year
Lando 5, Charles 7, Max 10, George 7, Fernando 10, Estaban 1, Yuki 8, Sainz 6, Nico 6
@hurronivich2652 Yeah that could happen at a backmarker team like Sauber.
I think Lewis is going to be strong this season. He's motivated. We've seen what happened with Alonso when the Aston Martin was quick.
i highly doubt bearman will beat ocon. he is severely overrated despite a respectable yet nothing spectacular or magical sub in at saudi. he got a solid p7 in what was definitely the 2nd fastest car.
I wish I had seen the poll. I love these kind of things. My two cents worth:
McLaren - Norris 5/10
Ferrari - Hamilton 2/10
Red Bull - Verstappen 10/10
Mercedes - Russell 9/10
Aston Martin - Alonso 10/10
Alpine - Gasly 10/10
Haas - Ocon 7/10
Williams - Sainz 6/10
RB - Tsunoda 9/10
Sauber - Hulkenberg 8/10
Antonelli over russel has to be bait 😂
Hulk over Gabi 6
Sainz over Albon 6
Tsunoda over hadjar 8
Bearman over Ocon 3
Gasly over doohan 10
(Gasly over Franco 7)
Alonso over stroll 10
Russel over kimi 10
Max over Lawson 10
Leclerc over Hamilton 7
Norris over piastri 4
matt is right about ollie and tommy is right about kimi i reckon both are special talents
their f2 season does not give the full picture
if anything formula 2 is slowly losing all credibility with bruno michel at the helm and the mechachrome lottery favouring a certain Paraguayan driver
Max, Lando, Charles, George, Fernando, Pierre, Bortoleto, Carlos, Yuki, Esteban
What you guys should have done is make the 1-10 scale a scoring system where if you’re right you get plus however many points you wagered out of 10 and if you’re wrong you get minus the equivalent
Before I get too deep in the video. If Fernando beating Stroll isn't a 10, I will lose all faith in humanity.
All we need is a latifi type driver to make this the greatest season in f1 history
Tommy is the smart one! My confidence is a 10 out of 10.
Gotta feel sorry for doohan the deck is stacked against him before he even starts
With Alex and Carlos, Williams is now officially the coolest team!
it always was.
@dill1453 Not when Seb and Kimi were at Ferrari. ;)
Apendixless team
@ why? :/
When you do this next year, you should only use each confidence level (either 0-10 or 1-11) once then if it happens, you get that many points and can compare at the end of the year.
Yeah, new Format! That's always great. Now I just wish for the race predictions to be more spicy. Like including 1,5 points for team predictions.
That would make it much more exiting.
20:49 Poor choice, Tommy. You're picking a great driver who's 5 years past his prime to beat the second best driver on the grid. I'd give Leclerc an 8 out of 10 chance of beating Hamilton.
LeClarc is not even 5th best lmao and Lulu was dueling Max in 2021, 3 years ago lmao
I literally screamed when I saw another one of your videos! Amazing!
Tommy must have been drinking the kool aid when he made that Mercedes prediction
Remember; a smoking engine is bad🙃
Also 10/10 for your PFP and username
@@NicotineRosberg It’s taken Oscar two seasons to be somewhat competitive against Lando. And George is stronger than Lando. So I don’t see it.
@@gameofender4463what? How is George stronger than lando
@@gideonhenstra1049did you miss F2 when they had equal cars and Russell dominated Lando?
You think dominating a 7 time WDC like Lewis is easier than beating an overrated driver like Piastri?
@@gideonhenstra1049Doesn't fumble when he's at the sharp end. Anytime he has a car to win he either wins or if he doesn't it's generally Mercedes mucking it up. Example Belgium and Brazil
After the season you HAVE to to a resulta of this!! 😁 If you choose the right driver, your level of points + is how sure you where on the driver, and if you where wrong, you have to take the points - 😁😁 super fun! Keep up the good work!! Regards from a hard core fan from Sweden! 🇸🇪
I rate the bortoletto take by Tommy. I could see Nico getting 2 or 3 P10’s and bortoletto gets a crazy P8 and finishes ahead because of that
Tommy DID ALMOST CONTEMPLATE going for less than a 10 😂 14:20
He almost thought about thinking about it?
1/6th of the races could be considered significant when considering a "bad run".
There needs to be a clarification of "higher":
Pts standing vs avg finish
Driver A could finish p10 once & dnf the rest of schedule and still finish "higher" than his teammate who finishes p11 at every event, who had the better season.
@P1 with Matt & Tommy
Am I the only one who thinks Matt in thumbnail looks like JD Vance ?
15:48 editor stuck in the past
Honestly think alpine are going to be this years 4th best team. The vibes are strong.
They had that momentum at the end of the season, and there’s a lot of upset in the other teams
My picks:
Norris 7
Leclerc 4
Verstappen 10
Russell 9
Alonso 10
Gasly 10
Ocon 7
Tsunoda 9
Albon 2 (had to go against the grain somewhere... Williams it is)
Hulkenberg 6
Have you considered the chance of Briatore making a huge splash right before the season starts by buying out Jack and placing Franco directly into that seat?
Does Briatore fancy getting into/out of Albert Park alive?
Is George Russel the new Danny Ric? Joins a team just after their glory and then outperformed by the next generational talent before he manages to win anything
Kimi won't outperform Russell, at least not for the next couple of years. Why is everyone writing off George, I don't seem to understand.
@@CaramelulllllHow dare he beat Lewis and how dare he try to go toe to toe with Max
You should do a similar video for qualifying head to heads.
The testing is in a month from now. Cannot wait:)
I've got a feeling Bortoleto is unfairly got low expectations from fans? He's back to back F3/F2 champ. I like Hulk but I'm pretty sure he's on the decline and switching teams takes time to adjust, I think his age might work against him at this point in his career.
F2 is just a mechacrome lottery now days. Hadjar had the championship comfortably before his mechacrome gave up 4 times.
Even then, some of them make vastly more power, so its even harder to judge
I need a compliation video of the cursed intros you guys have done.
Bearman and Ocon at HAAS feels the same as Leclerc and Ericsson at Sauber, and we know how that went
