Hello Visoko! Tamara has made an appearance. Hopefully she might make some more 😄. We will see. Wishing you and your family all that you wish for yourselves in 2025, Bests from both of us
Hello David & Tamara! Great seeing you both on the livestreaming. Always enjoyed the previous videos & livestreams you all have done. A very very Happy New Year to you both! Ciao for now. : )
Hello Sibinci ❤️ we both hope you're coping with the snow, cold temperatures and power outages. We think of you so much and very often. Lots ❤️ Tamara and Me
Very interesting episode! Great discussion! And funny to say you were party animals but now it's moreso staying in or eating out. It is the same for me now. As wild as it gets is a few stouts, and splurging on biscuits 😅. Around year 1999/2000 I was gettin hammered in dive bars with locals in Sarajevo and Belgrade. Hard to believe thats 25 years ago. 😅 But Im sure ill surely get another few beers in around Bosnia in coming years. Happy New Year and new channel is super.
Hi Eamonn, yep, life changes doesn't it? When you come back there's a nice bar in Banja Luka that pours a very respectable stout you might enjoy. Happy New Year wishes to you too.
Interesting that you embrace village life as a couple of "townies". I've been much the same, although quite frankly, I'd rather drop out of society altogether. In the meantime, I'm satisfied with living on the outskirts of a hamlet with 5 acres (2 hectares approx) to call my own. I like the sound of the ram roast. I keep some sheep specifically for mutton. It's a pity I can't nip over with one.
Hi Chris, we love it here. The house is on 1 acre of land. Tamara's father started building it as a weekend house in the early 80's. It's been improved etc over time. The main agriculture in this area is grain. But it seems most people have small holdings. The pigs and sheep are raised and slaughtered on site. And consumed by the family and neighbours. No laws requiring taking the animal to an abbatoir. Alcohol is also distilled at home. Dairy products as well. This country won't enter the EU, hopefully. They'll keep their culture intact.
I have a Tamara story I can tell you if we ever meet. Does Bosnia allow dual citizenship? Croatia does not allow it for foreigners, only for Croatian naturals.

Hi Shep! It took some effort to get Tam to "pop her head above the parapet", but she smiled, so that's a +

I think Bosnia does allow dual citizenship. Tam has both Canadian and Bosnian passports.
