I work with my dad in his landscaping business. I used to hate it when I was younger cause I thought it was tough work, but after growing up I started to see the positives in it, like the freedom of being your own boss, being able to control your work environment, not having to deal with terrible co workers(im a introvert also), being outside enjoying nature. It’s still tough work but happiness & peace is something you cant put a price on.

I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use th-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.

So just like I said you and me basicly work alot alike.well Zach if I have any questions on something dealing with lawn care I will ask you for your opinion and any ideas that my have that might help me out. Awesome video man. Love your energy you seem like a great person.
I started off mowing lawns when I was young. Now I own my own landscape installation business and we specialize in installing pollinator gardens, habitat gardens and wildflower meadows. I just want to encourage others to pursue other aspects of landscaping as it can make you extremely valuable. People are becoming more and more interested in native plants and ecological gardens so if you learn more about those topics it can add a lot to your business!

Love this. I worked with a landscaping business for 2 years and the money is real. We don't need anyone to tell us how much our labor is worth. Do like my guy here and decide for yourself.

I used to clean pools as a young man and remember coming across thousands of yard care pros, some would make up to 7-10k a month. One guy took care of 1 family's yards they were dairy farmers each paid 3k a month for total yard care.

To turn easier with a push mower in a fenced in yard make two passes along the fence then when making passes you can turn without the handle hitting the fence.

Make Money Mowing - Howdy! I live in north Dallas and am not able to charge what you charge and was wondering if you could let us in on what your competitors are charging and what kind of push back have you gotten. I am also doing small neighborhood lawns. Some larger ones, I am able to charge 50-60 i.e. on a corner lot with a larger back yard/front yard (Still not large). I up charge trimming hedges and roll that into the cost like $10 more every time I mow for hedges. Do you lose a lot of quotes due to high price and just take the ones you want? Thanks for the help!
