How many hours of story would you say?
@@l3nett For me it was about.. 50 hours? Albeit I was looking for monsters and just grinding etc so it might be less then that!

@@l3nett It depends what kind of player you are, you can use the stealth ability and avoid almost all random fights or you can be the kind of player who will run into every random encounter on purpose. I would say you can finish it in about 25 hours if you focus only on the story and don't farm gear sets (which is pointless before endgame tbh, because you will get better sets a few missions later). I heavily used stealth to avoid many random fights, but did some side things like side quests, collecting some eggs etc and finished the main story after about 35 hours, but there is still many hours of play time in end game and finishing the remaining side quests etc.
I'm surprised you didn't mention Lavina Mine Cave... the cave made specifically for mining. It has tons of mine nodes and chances to get Armor/Weapon spheres
Honestly, this is the very best location for finding the spheres. I'm getting a bunch right now.

@@smallfrypunk3647 You're welcome. Make sure to bring an "ore search" monstie with you to make finding the ore nodes in the cave easier
I'm not making the same mistake as the 1st game where as I progress I'm upgrading every weapon and every armor piece to max (or as much as availability allows at that point) before continuing the story.
I've got almost 80 hours, haven't finished the story, and have zero money because the grind is slow.
This time I'm only doing 1 armor and set of weapons, do a bunch of story, unlock more, repeat. But this will help when I do the eventual craft everything farm.
I get that. I finished the Story when my monstie lvl 32 😅.

You could also use a Monstie with the skill Ore Search, since that will highlight all the spots in which you can mine close to you
For expeditions level really matter that much, it’s the element that’s effective for the place.

Ahaha When I was a child, I was told that pressing "Up + A" as soon as the PokeBall opened would increase the chances of catching Pokemon. Even knowing it's probably not true, I still do it to this day.

@@nexiledflare5070 now that I look at it why are there so many unique monsters? Querpeco, black gravios, purple ludroth. I don’t like turn based rpgs but if those boys are back I might have to try it.

I was trying to make armor, but i only had 9/10 armor spheres. When I went to get more, I never got armor sheres, but, and im not joking, 69 weapon spheres. 7s 4m 7L
Can somebody tell me why gammoth stats are so bad the stats the are in the monstiepedia are just not a reflection of actual stats

@@Tommyvang187 I think it's linked to their 'growth' speed but honestly that doesn't excuse them being so terrible. My level 38 Gammoth that I got full ice genes on was nothing to my level 23 Gravois that I got for lava diving.
Do prayers wear off when you spawn? Or is it only when you enter a town that they wear off?
The effects of the amulets have a timer, the effects of the prayer wears off once you return to any town. If you keep staying in any map, the prayer will continue.
The charms and the prayers do stack. If you look at the shrine when you activate charms, smoke comes out of the left side and when you activate prayers, smoke comes out of the right side.
i think the cave in the snow area is much better to find ores
As a casual player I don't see how everyone rushes to endgame when there's so many hours of content. Arreckz had the game way before release so I understand the content but how is everyone else at endgame. I can't rush through the story without exploring everything
By playing 25 hours a day
I bought it on release day and I already have 40 hour playtime because I like it so much, which was enough to finish the story. I did explore the areas, collected some random eggs and did side quests, but I did not farm specific gear sets or monsters during the story, because you will replace them a few missions later anyways and you also get enough materials with the main mission fights for new sets which are good enough to finish the game, so no point to farm / grind until you are at endgame
So I've been getting conflicting information on this; are there high rank monsties? Like will I have to replace my entire party? If anyone has an answer on this please let me know, thank you!

I think the prayer pot stacks cause of the animation when you use both. The pot smoke from two sides are

Hey can anyone help me out because I didn’t do anything that could corrupt my stories 2 data and it won’t let me play co op online
All I did was transfer my demo save I didn’t hatch an Anja or anything

@@aarong8486 i aint this isnt my fault capcom has ti fix their game like we you and me are the 1% of the player base locked out of mp for something we didnt do.
This is an extremely widespread issue between both Steam and Switch, and Capcom has yet to make any official statements about it as of posting. You're definitely not the only one who's experienced this!
Can we talk about how TH-cam actually got the game right this time?
Is there any other monster than Narcacuga with the stealth ability? I already finished the main story and it was my main monster the whole game, because stealh is the best ability, but I start to get tired of Narcacuga. I wish there was a other way to turn invisible instead of a monster ability which "forces" me to ride on specific monster :(
