Another great video Hayden helping another farmer with his wheat. Im sure getting the adjustments right to find a happy medium can press your last nerve. I think it's pretty awesome your Mom and Tessa run the combines too. I'm thinking that if you both end up living together and getting married your Dad can get another combine to have Tessa as part of the team! Thanks again Hayden for sharing another great video. Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
"Tessa is the type of person who will bring home any animal...", Was that a simple description of you? Great job and thank of the upside, not much traffic at 4AM in North Dakota! Thanks for video.
"Absence makes the heart grow fonder" Hayden, I hope you and Tessa got through the separation all right. I remember what that is like, and it's difficult to say the least! Thank you for your conversation about the combine wear and tear. And about the heat causing difficulties in threshing the crop. Thank you again for the ride along Hayden ♥️ - Hope
Enjoyed this video also Hayden! Thanks for taking us along and I liked your chat about the combines, I'm not a farmer so I don't know about that, I'm just a fan!
I remember this farm from last year. How wonderful that you were able to help that farmer. With your girl gone, maybe we'll see more videos? LOL. Oh, good thing you explained what Cody was doing because that looked really weird. Is he a permanent employee now or just year to year?
Watching you pull up that rock reminds me of another benefit of farming in North America in lieu of areas of France and Belgium where farmers are bringing up unexploded munitions from the world wars, unfortunately occasionally fatally 😢
Hayden, MArkus here - and I'm an absolute dog-person. Or, I was... AFTER my two cats moved in, I started believing in the 'Universal Cat Distribution System"... Have a look! It is NOT Tessa's 'fault'. 😁
The amount of material going through those machines is enormous. I do agree heavier material should be used. I think you are correct in thinking the hot spell caused a tightening in the wheat heads. I am certain you made the best adjustments possible for the conditions.
Also seems after Covid the quality control of ma Hines made and parts made is lacking I have found. But I’d also say it’s slowly getting better than it was right after Covid. So hopefully things will get back to how it was.
Hayden, remember plans always change! Think about all of the opportunities that just opened because your plans changed! Here’s something else! You’re still working, making money doing your own thing ITS LIFE Thank God🙏🏻😇
Engineering is the short answer to your comment about how fast combine wear out. You would not believe how much time goes into parts only a certain amount of time. For example batteries if the warranty says 24months they are made to only last twenty four months and one day. Unlike in the 40,50 60 where things were engineered to last a lifetime of the machine.
7700 combines sure broke down a lot back in the day but that was probably b4 Hayden's time. lol One thing for sure, they sure don't make women like they use too either. lol
An x9 will do in a hour what we use to do in a week in an old jd55. It produced a whole 100 bushels an hour. Thats the difference between a 1950's machine and modern one.
Great job running the combines Hayden and your mom

That poor Girl probably needs a break from the Buddy seat! They are comfy but only for a while unless I’m just too old!😂 great Video!

Great video Hayden
I've been on harvest and you are right. And the vertical unlisted auger dependsind on how much corn you do

Love that Red Raider cup! 😃
Without a doubt your best video yet. On the 5th is was riding around in a Case 9250. Thank you for all the explainations
Love the family harvesting and the Aussie ride along. Did you go to Texas Tech ?
Nothing like getting on that first flight in the morning at Bis. Dont forget the time change though

Roughly how many hours do you put on a combine in a season?
That's the only job that I've never used the combine in IS wheat. 😊
You gotta get Cody a little bread too how many hours is he in the tractor😅
Install 4 to 6 filler plates into your concave. Makes a world of difference. Good luck..
Or get MAD mad concaves and utilize the whole rotor, cleaner grain sample with more through put.
Many many years ago we ran 105's and 7700's. They broke down all the time. Seems nothing has changed over the decades
You should try IH combines they do better job with cleaning all grains
You can grease those fittings headers on the combine, just have to reach in there ……..
0:10 nah, it's “the cat disruption system has found her” 😆
Edit: 0:39 exactly! … agree with her, cat has chosen you!!
Mom didn’t end this video, Hayden!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 :(
This video is amazing, the machines featured are truly modern and incredibly beneficial for farmers
How many hours do you put on your combines before you trade up?
Do your combines have 5,000 sep. Hour's yet???
No

what is the cost of harvesting paid bu the hour or by the acre

Your dad seems to have much more drawl than u and your mom. He doesn’t need a Texas flag lol

but at what cost per acre
So when are you going to get Tessa her x9
I really enjoy your videos
why hasn't Emma been posting
🤩👍👍
Tessa’s but must get sore sitting in that seat all day. Wish they would make better buddy seats.
18:10 I like this black guy. He's been with me since morning.
