This was the very first video game soundtrack I ever heard in my entire life, at the tender age of 4. To me, it's an honor to have been raised with this kind of music at a very young age. I was born in 1992.

Btw, I absolutely love the power and the emotion that she gives to the end of "Es ist kein Gott, es ist kein Gott". You can feel some hysteria and despair in her voice, it's very beautiful.

I played Heroes4 first, for me it was a fantastic game. Then I recognized, that many players didn´t really liked it. I couldn´t really understand. I only knew Heroes4 in these days and the game for itself worked very well, maybe the best Heroes Soundtrack . For me the game was Magic. Also Heroes 2 , I loved the german opera singing and the classical PC-gaming look from the mid 90s . Heroes3 technically might be the best, but for me its not that magical like 4 and 2 .
late post, i agree also my most favourite were HOMM2 and HOMM4, 5 is still good. HOOM2 have handedly draw pictures and looks like from fairy tail :D, just is a bit unbalanced compared to later heroes. I just hate when everyone says that heroes 3 is best and other sucks. Game started to being shit since HOOM6 came out.

Weak, but their speed and two-hex attack could do wonders. Especially at opening up the map early and blitzing things down. Less investment to attain better speed (which means first spellcast) and the two-hex attack is amazing for chunking stacked units (exploring, castle gate pile-up, etc.)
Idk if it'd be my favorite castle to play, but it'd definitely be up there... The aesthetic of the castle and the creatures and such is also definitely up there...

Mh rise has Opera bgm in town and hub theme too. I reminded HOMM2 when I was hearing the Kamura village's opera theme. And in Ibushi and Narwa's theme as well.
Wish phoenixes had this thing when first one dies thers mirror image animation and new one in stack is spwned with only 30% hp and every time another one from main stack dies again there is resurrect true animation on secondary stack and 30% more hp is added possibly rezzing even more than just that one. That would balance out unit a bit against dragons. Would be cool to have improvements like that on other units all over too.

Contrary to popular opinion, I think this one is better than any track from HoMM3. Sure, HoMM3 themes are great, but none are this majestic.
