As a 85 to 90% student, I'd like to ask you if PCMB Is a Good Option for me because I'm really confused of what should I take...I have Interest in both but at the same time I'm worried about the burden that's on the students plus the pressure of scoring above 90% from the parents... Is PCMB really worth a Shot ?
Hi! PCMB is a really good option if you want to give NEET and JEE. But like you said, it does get slightly harder to do both Bio and Maths. In my experience, getting anywhere between 85-90% is possible if you put effort during the finals month. Getting more than 90 requires year round practice which is something I also did not do. But I know people who got 85-90 in lass 10, did year round practice in class 11 and 12, and got above an overall 90% in 12th.
@@AbinKattar1 it’s hard I think you should consider only one subject in which you are going to make your career because after 12th you have to take only one of the maths or biology because it is hard to study both of them together so if you have interest in both of them you can take both of them otherwise you should take one of them . I must say I never really thought about the career I would take and hence never really thought about the streams I wanna take. Right now I am planning to take PCMB but the no. of ppl I have talked to say that maths and bio are gonna be a tough fit. Frankly I don't even know what subject I am better at. I never thought much about becoming a doctor or other things. It's really frustrating and I am second guessing myself everytime I think I am decided.. Taking PCMB might make it difficult for you to get a very good percentage (>95, for eg). But it's not impossible. I am not sure about ICSE though, since I've only ever studied in CBSE systems. I've heard from friends and family that ICSE is supposed to be harder than CBSE but I don't know how much it's harder. I'd encourage you to talk to a career or guidance counselor about it
@@heyyoga7515 ICSE is harder till 10th only. In 11th &12th CBSE becomes harder which is evident from the fact that in almost all competitive exams, Ncert sylab is followed.
Yes, you can take bio + maths and go into the robotics field! But if you are sure you want to do robotics, then maybe you can take Computer science since robotics involves coding.

Physics and Chemistry are mandatory subjects and and you usually get to chose between (Maths or Biology) + another optional subject (Comp Sci, P.E). PCMB students ending up taking both Maths and Biology instead of picking another additional subject.

Hey Amir! Please talk to your counselors and teachers about this. It depends on why you want to study biology. If you future goals require you to take biology in 11/12th (there are always exceptions, so look into that), then ask your teachers if you can maybe clear off the exams without having to repeat the year. However, I am NOT sure about this and you will have to speak with your school regarding this. Good luck!
The institution that i am choosing has compulsorily PCMB combination.. I don't know what to do as its govt. Owned and these will end up costing my parents little money than spending on private ones..

Priyanshi Mittal Hi Priyanshi! I know it can be confusing and difficult to decide a career path. I would highly recommend you talk to a school counsellor/ career counsellor/friends/family about this. Career decisions really depend on your interests and goals. So it’s better to talk to a professional who can give proper advice. For me personally, talking to doctors and other med students helped me make a decision about whether or not to take medicine. Just remember that everything will turn out just fine :)
I'm sorry about that. PCMB is hard and there's no doubt about that. Whenever I felt bad about taking pcmb, I tried to remind myself the main reason why I took pcmb, ie., for more career options, etc. Also, 11th and 12th is not the end of your education and it is in fact, the very beginning. Even though the CBSE system tries to quantify student's abilities through grades, it's important to remember that grades and exams are not a good representation of how good a student actually is in a subject. Again, I feel the stress you're going through right now but remember that you'll get through it! And you would have learnt a lot in the process.
Personally, I stopped focusing on JEE after finding out that I'll be doing my undergrad in US. Most of my friends who did two years coaching in Allen are not in IITs (I'm assuming that's what you meant by "crack"). They're at good colleges, though.
I understand your confusion and I've been there too. But, this decision is yours :) Both programs have their pros and cons like I mentioned in the video. NEET is only sliiiiightly less competitive than JEE. Otherwise, they're both demanding exams.
As far as I know, it shoudn't be a problem unless that college has a requirement stating that you need to take CS in 11th and 12th to do Bsc in Computers
Hi! I studied maths for most of the time and focused on biology only before tests and exams. Since I knew I did not want to get into the field on biology, I paid less attention to it. In my experience, biology requires less time than maths because it's mostly about memorization, but maths requires consistent practice.

You never understood the meaning of knowledge and never will. Have you ever felt interested in some questions? Like What is empty space made up of? Have you ever felt that I don't want to do any job and am not here to do one, why would I, I have to know what's the truth about this universe, and this basic idea is the basis of mad scientists. You will never understand science and all subjects are just as a job provider to you and not knowledge provider. And that's why I don't like connecting jobs with subjects .

What was your main subject at the time of addmission (pcb main maths optonal ), or (pcm main nd bio optinal).
Could please tell me di that if I take pcm main and bio as optional during addmission and I will get more marks in biology then will pcb become my main ???????????

You never understood the meaning of knowledge and never will. Have you ever felt interested in some questions? Like What is empty space made up of? Have you ever felt that I don't want to do any job and am not here to do one, why would I, I have to know what's the truth about this universe, and this basic idea is the basis of mad scientists. You will never understand science and all subjects are just as a job provider to you and not knowledge provider. And that's why I don't like connecting jobs with subjects .
Not everyone is like that bro!! Do not try to mark yourself as an extraordinary over here... at least I'm not studying for jobs and all !

@@supratim1572 man if u want 90+in maths then it is really tough and if u want to score only50+in maths and want to keep maths in case of u not able to clear neet (because it is very tough) then pcmb is not that much hard and it is very good choice to make
