Not the right day as you said, but I think this drone is promising. It seems the other manufacturers are improving massively on the budget end of the market. Great demonstration, Marcus 👍
Thanks for taking one for the team, Marcus! You looked like you were miserable out there, but you muscled through it and got the job done! I liked the fact that the controller's battery level was shone on the screen. Maybe a feature that other manufacturers could emulate. There was a star icon with some numbers next to it. The numbers kept changing rapidly. What was that telling us? I hope you and your loved ones have a great holiday season! I look forward to your videos in '25!
Another great video Marcus, you gave it a cold weather test and it looked like it did a decent job. Thanks for bearing the weather to do the video and share with us. Happy holidays.
Hi Marcus 👋 My friend. Thank you so very much for braving the cold weather 🥶💨. A good review though the cold reduced the battery time. Hope you are doing good today 👍. Happy Holidays to you and your family 🙏. Stay warm my friend Marcus. God bless 🙏.
At least you can say you gave it the bad weather testing. I wasn't really impressed with this one, but it's hard to judge a camera drone under these conditions. Nice testing and review, but you probably should have tested this drone at Dubois Park, the weather might have been a little better there, LOL. Thanks for sharing Marcus.
Hello Marcus, you def had me laughing Big time when I first saw your face in my timeline. The black covering on your face looked like you had grown a big black beard, haha!! I was on my iPhone at first which isn’t the best for watching vids at times. I switched to my iPad to view the vid and of course saw you didn’t grow a massive beard, haha! Nice vid as usual and way to go being outside in the cold! It’s going to hit 70 today in Dallas, not bragging though as we don’t have any seasons here! It’s either hot, really hot, or holy heck it’s too hot!! That’s one of the few drones I’ve seen you review that actually impressed me just a tad! It looks like a little larger than the mini series that DJI offers. I just got my Air 3s today, can’t wait to unbox and get it in the air! I hope you still like your Air 3s, it was your recipe of that impressive take off and precision landing that totally sold me with a purchase! You were under the picnic shelter in the middle and took off then later used RTH and it came back underneath the area and landed Perfectly! I’m still amazed with that kind of accuracy!! About my order, zero issues and no hold ups straight from DJI. Ordered it this past Friday and arrived today Monday! Crazy fast service with no hiccups like some have experienced! Anyhow, thanks for the demo of the drone, go shave and have a cup of HOT coffee, have a good one brother!
I think you picked a fine day for a drone flight... I mean, isn't any day a fine day? haha I remember flying this one the first time and the sticks did seem stiff like you said and it was hard to control that yaw... Almost like the Holy Stone and Veeniix drones are stiff on their controllers. I wish there was a way to adjust the sensitivity but Alien Drones told me he contacted Holy Stone and it wasn't an option. I'm assuming it's the same for Ruko considering they use similar equipment, eh? Anyway, I do like this drone and think the footage is probably the best I've seen from one of these types of drones but it's still a little overpriced. Awesome review as always, Marcus!
Marcus, quick question. What's the star on the left of the satellite icon? I'm looking at it wondering what it is because of the numbers that are jumping. Another thing I thought that it is weird that it stopped recording. You need to look into that my friend. I try not to fly when it's below 50° f. I don't mind the snow, but not the cold. I like to hibernate like the bears in winter. 😂 Thanks again for sharing. 👍👍👍
@@IdahoQuadcopter The star represents the compass interference value of the drone. If it exceeds 120, it will indicate that the compass is interfered with, and if it exceeds 180, it will be forced to enter the compass calibration. A lower value is better, indicating less interference around.👍
People that use that forecast wind app and actually pays them to use it r strange. And people who use the screen grids just remind me of people who still need training wheels on bikes
screen grids are immensely useful when you're using a camera that cannot do 9:16 natively but you want to post a vertical video... without guessing whether or not you have the content in frame.
Life is good when your favorite Drone Reviewer goes out in the cold to deliver a review. We love you Marcus! Happy Holidays
I appreciate the kind words! Thank you! 🙂
Captain Drone does too, however all he does it bitch about it nonstop in every video. It's gets so annoying.

Thank you Alan! Yes, the video wasn't bad!

Thank you Fred, Merry Christmas to you and yours! That star icon is reading magnetic interference.
Thanks Marcus. Toughing it out in the cold for us! Jeff/Annapolis
Yes, it sure was cold out there! Thank you Jeff!
Another great video Marcus, you gave it a cold weather test and it looked like it did a decent job. Thanks for bearing the weather to do the video and share with us. Happy holidays.
Thank you very much Greg! It was pretty cold out there. 😄
Good job on the review!
It was pretty chilly out there that day Shane! Thanks for watching!
The trees were beautiful with the frost.
Yes they were nice. 👍
Hello Marcus-great video-keep warm and have a Merry Christmas-Ausi -Mike
Thank you Mike! I hope you have a Merry Christmas too!
Not a bad drone. Looks like fun and flies well.
It did okay. 🙂 Thank you!
wow Marcus another awsome video.
Thanks again Henry!
thank you marcus sure looks cold .still bet then uk winds 90 m hr here .
Yes, it was too cold to fly really. 🙂
It seems like a nice drone. You could control the drone around the trees. I could see you were struggling to do an orbet. The video looked good.
Yes, the orbit was a little rough! 😄 Thank you John!

Dubois Park would have been a much better choice Ron! I just need that plane ticket to Florida! 🤣

Glad you enjoyed the video! I’m still impressed with the Air 3S too! Enjoy your new drone! 🙂
You look warm there, Marcus
As you know Eddie, we do what we must! 🤣
Thank you sir, i really enjoyed watching your video❤
You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Hello again from UK worthy drone there are drones and then there are DJI drones just saying good video again
Very true! 😄
Not sure about the Drone but the trees looked spectacular Marcus 🙂
They were quite frosty! Thank you Julius.
3:31 Trees definitely have a magnetic force on drones.
Especially with Amazon drones Kris! 😄

They have a a$$hole effect. Power lines are close second.

Thank you Kevin. It's got a decent camera, but yeah when we're used to DJI flight controls, these drones can be tough.
Los árboles ya están preparados para recibir a Santa
Yes! Winter is here!!!
It seemed a very quiet drone Marcus, looks like other companies are upping their game.
I noticed that too Harvey, it was a nice quiet little drone.

That icon you were looking at measure magnetic anomaly. I'm not sure if a high number or low number is better. 🤣

Nice jacket brother😂
Hey but what about the knit cap John? 😄
Ouch, $459.... your in dji territory at that price point, and that is an easy decision... seems like a nice flyer though... good review Marcus!
Thank you for dropping by Matty!
Not too bad video considering.
I thought the video quality we pretty good. 👍
Looks like sort of a vignette effect from the camera.
It's difficult to tell on such a grey day. Maybe?
Drone seems to drift right when in forward flight
Yes, the flight controls were a little vague . 👍
How much?
It varies. 👍
Battery petered out quickly.
Thank you for watching!
The video looks a little washed out. It may be the weather.
Yes, everything was grey that day. 👍

Yes, but people actually watch my videos. I'll be glad to help you improve your channel.

LMAO! I use grid, too. Very useful!
