I feel delighted by your comprehensive review. Your friendliness, good cheer, and helpful attitude shine throughout. I would like to share my experience with the small size, since many may wonder whether it is big enough to meet their needs. I am retired and have no need for a work bag, so I purchased the Dakota backpack in the small size. At first, I was disappointed because it seemed too small to accommodate much. In particular, the front exterior pocket was not deep enough to accommodate pens in the wide elastic loops, the side pockets seemed too small to fit much of anything, and I could squeeze a small water bottle into the interior side pockets only at the cost of bulging. But the neoprene has some stretch and give to it, and soon I was able to fit quite a few small items in the exterior side pockets. The interior side pockets will also expand to accommodate a small water bottle. I later found that the small size quite efficiently holds all the things I need for my daily activity of writing and journalizing. That would include a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch disc-bound planner cum journal with 1 1/2 inch discs, and a collection of writing supplies - pencils, pens, colored pencils, book darts and paper clips, sticky notes, an eraser (fits in those elastic loops inside the front exterior pocket!), a mini stapler, and a plastic envelope for checks, Avery labels, and small documents. If I replace my wide, disc-bound notebook with a pocket-sized Day Timer or even an iPad mini, I can also pack a water bottle, albeit snugly, without creating a bulge. Filled thus, the bag can still accommodate a small wallet, keys, my iPhone 7-plus and charging apparatus, and essential hygiene-related items or safety-related items (flashlight, pocket knife) in mini size. The bag is beautiful, and the small size works very well if you have a dedicated purpose for it and include only items related to that purpose.

Ok. I'm hooked. I love how you demonstrate how they look on you. I thought the small was a mini until you put it on, then it didn't seem as tiny. Makes a big difference. Great video!
Very helpful review. I have the small gray one which I took it on a 2 week trip to Asia and it performed perfectly. I was able to carry around my passport holder, cash, water bottle, external battery, cell phone, some snacks, and rolled up my sweater inside of it at times too. What I loved about it was how comfortable it was and how smooth the zippers were! When it was raining, the backpack got wet and so my stuff inside got a bit damp (it’s not waterproof I would say). Even still I really enjoyed it and am now considering getting either a M or L to use as my work bag. I also have the grey camo medium Landon which I use as my gym bag, it is great! The neoprene is a good material but when it gets wet, the camo print shows ugly water marks. I haven’t washed it yet as I’ve been a bit cautious but I read on one of your comments that you threw it in the washing machine, so I may give it a try too. For anyone debating, I’d recommend it. ;)

I have the large size in Dune and I LOVE IT but it’s a bit big for an everyday, it’s perfect for my personal bag when traveling though! Now I’m trying to figure out if the small or medium would be best for an everyday/purse but if I did that I’m not sure how I could take both on a plane.. 🤔 decisions decisions…. 😂❤ LOVE DD products! I’ve also got a couple of their small bags for like makeup etc and absolutely love those too! The quality is unmatched!

Very quick and thorough video! Wish I would have watched it BEFORE I purchased the small. Came in the mail yesterday and it was WWAAYYYY too small for what I needed it for. I need it for work to lug stuff around and the small is more for if you’re taking a day trip in the city and don’t need much to carry. Thankfully I’m within the return policy so I’ll just return and purchase the medium one

I have a small in dark moss! Love it so much! it’s perfect for daily work commute. It fits my lunch box perfectly. I’m interested in getting their new Xs Landon! It looks super cute. Sadly it doesn’t ship international, had to pay extra for 3rd party delivery and get it ship to me.

This is a great review and comparison. I would love to buy this as a gift for my son's therapist as a laptop backpack. They have the sienna, liberty and dusk camo in medium on sale now. The dusk camo looks really pretty, but will it get dirty fast? Are they easy to clean? Or should I just got for the liberty? She has a 13" MacBook. All the size large bags on sale are sold out. These are super nice backpacks the only that’s missing is a luggage strap on the back :(

I love both the medium and large as baby bags! If you need more outside pocket space for bottles then I would say go with the large:)

I love mine! I can get the creases out pretty easily if you just stuff the bag super full and let it air dry
