I think I need to start recording some stories for a sleep app with this soothing voice I keep hearing about. :) According to Dagne's website, the laptop sleeve will fit most 13" laptops, so I think you are in good shape on that one. I also tested a 9x11.5 notebook inside as well as a 3 hole punch binder to check on your planner question, and it fit both of those--your planner should fit! Woohoo! I did have to make sure the side mesh pockets inside didn't catch the corners of the rigid binder when putting it inside, but it fit and zipped with no issue. P.S. What type of planner do you use? I love planners!

Loved this review! I’m debating buying this bag for college- my main issues with my current jansport bag are the uncomfortable straps that dig into my back and the lack of organizational pockets.

I love how you are one of the few who can actually do a proper review (and I love your calming voice as well, and the bloopers were funny too :-). I bought their bag (landon size Large) and I am waiting to arrive next week and I am now looking at Dakota backpack to match as well. And I couldn't find anywhere if the back pockets are half or all the way. Your review helped a lot! I just can't decide between medium or large. What would you recommend? I would use it mostly for travelling and daily excursions.

If you want to maximize your space for travel, the large may be something to consider. If you travel on the lighter side the medium could work! I love packing as much as possible when traveling, but that’s just my style.

Also I need a pocket for my meds and hedphones and your detailed review is the best one I found so far and trust me, I did my reasearch for 2 weeks before actually buying a bag. So I think a size M will do. It needs to fit my 13 inch Macbook so I will be fine. Thank you again! :-)

@@2010Petruska Great choice! Your intuition is right on. With as much action as it will get the darker color is a good idea. My hip bag in Dune shows a lot and I have to clean it more often. I accidentally set my moss Dakota on a counter that had a ton of spilled AIR FRESHENER OIL on it at a plant shop and I nearly died. 😵I was able to get most of it out, but it’s on the bottom of the bag anyway. I did throw it in the Dagne dust bag, tied it in a knot, and put it on hand wash/gentle cycle since it was so soaked with that oil. Otherwise small spots are good with hand wash. 😁
Great review! How is it holding up? My backpack is getting these stretchy creases across the top. Any suggestions for remedying this? There are a lot of wrinkles. I’ve had the backpack for a year.
It’s in great shape but it’s no longer my daily carry! I get wrinkles out of mine by putting a hand towel over the wrinkled area and then steaming over it with my little clothes travel steamer. I’ll take breaks and pull the neoprene material taut between rounds! That should do the trick. Thanks so much for your lovely comment and the question.
@@Moon-lt5bi I work totally remotely now, so my trips out of the house are SUPER casual OR when I dress up. 😂 I bought a Patagonia sling bag for a trip to Oregon last year since we were supposed to go whale watching and honestly that thing is with me most of the time-school drop offs and gym time. The other times I’m dressed up and I do a basic black or mauve Kate Spade bag I snagged at the outlets. 💁🏻♀️😅

Andrea Lynn Actually completelyy the same reason! haha. I went to a performing arts high school and just graduated from college (UT Austin) as a journalism major. I've been thinking of doing a channel for a while, and now that I'm graduated, figured it was a good time to finally commit. :) That performing soul never leaves for suree. This is def a great platform to combine all your passions. 😊
