Ah! I wish I had just waited a couple weeks for this video! I was so worried that the bags would sell out that I ordered a medium Indi on the day it was released. It is a lot bigger than I anticipated! Although I think that size will be perfect for everyday stuff once our baby arrives, I sent the medium back and got the small instead to use as an everyday purse. I think I’m gonna swap out the large Indi with the medium one on our registry; considering all the travel restrictions due to COVID, I can’t imagine needing to use a large diaper bag very often. At any rate, thanks so much for the comparison! It make a big difference to see all the bags side by side!
Just got my DD Indi bag in the army green😍, got both large and medium to compare them. Omg Large is massive! U can pack for a week long excursion in there!! (Although on the body, they look about the same size to me) Medium is definitely my size for every day. Can pack for newborn and even a toddler. Thank you for all your incredible vids. I’ve watched this video SO many times in the past few days trying to decide between the Medium or Large Indi! I’m not a mom so I’d be using it for school. Which one is closer in size to the Medium Dakota?
@@sophiasobrevinas4324 I certainly think so! If you aren't a fan of structured bags, I actually wouldn't recommend it. The way the Indi is shaped, plus the neoprene, means that it really does keep that boxy shape very well when it's full, with not a lot of give. It is a "top packing" bag, so if you're used to opening your backpack really wide to see more of a "front" view, you would probably prefer the Dakota instead of the Indi. The Indi really feels like a bucket bag, where you put things in on top and they tend to fall deeper into the bag.
Baby is 5 mo. We have to carry ready to feed bottles with us (2-3 at a time) in a compact cooler but they’re the 7inch tall bottles. With that in mind would you go for the M or L. I don’t keep much in his bag. I’m a minimalist. Couple binkys. Couple burp cloths. A diaper for every 1 we’ll be gone, and a couple outfits with wipes. We have a small bottle warmer too that’s about 3x3 inches. I’m just worried the M might be too stuffed but the L will be too big... hmmm, thoughts?
Not that I need another dagne bag but I have 3 of their classic backpacks ... this one is really nice though 👀 - I like the way you keep it down better on these compared to like the snaps on the landon

Surprised they used magnets for some of the pockets. Magnets and electronics do not mix. Looks awesome though! Looks great just for a normal backpack not sure why they went heavy on marketing this solely as a diaper bag. Feel like they’re losing out on a huge market of guys and gals that may see that and not want to buy it. Sounds absurd because it’s just marketing and a name but that’s how folks are. That’s the reality
Most newer laptops use SSD drives which magnets won't affect. Also, you would need some pretty powerful magnets to wipe a spinning disk hard drive. A small collection of rare earth magnets could do this, but the one in this bag I doubt is powerful enough to mess with your electronics.
Thank you for this! I have a toddler and want a bag for every day use, but also a bag to travel in the future with (to carry my 13" lapotp + his stuff). Would you recommend getting the small for every day toddler stuff and large for travel or medium only to cover it all?
As to color, should I be worried about the grey showing stains easily? If I accidentally set it down outside on something like coffee is it ruined ??? Thanks

the large is fairly large, esp if you pack it - it can be quite heavy- great for travelling but I would go medium for every day

No it won't be ruined:) It will need to be washed though if you set it in coffee.
