This was actually a lot more mature than I was expecting fair play lads 😂
Lewis was actually fair and balanced, wtf is happening
not even Theo was just purely annoying little brat, wtf?? is this podcast healing??
Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
@@anvil9263😂havent heard that before thats a good one 😂😂
Absolutely elite performance from Theo Baker in this clip, fair play.
I think Klopp handled it so much better in his post match statement after the Spurs game, in which Liverpool were arguably more robbed
Arguably? Arsenal’s goal was 50:50 and shouldn’t have been ruled out based on that. Liverpool actually scored and it may cost them at the end of the season.
theo's point about the club backing Arteta and his rant is absolutely spot on, best piece of analysis I've heard him give, can't have arsenal hanging him out to dry.
The amount of times Tom goes w w w w w wwwww wwwww had me crying 😂😂😂😂😂
they were never in a position to bottle it
Yep
What ever makes you happy
@@theodorbolwiglillieborg1187 Arsenal losing & then sending racist abuse to their ex players makes me happy
sure
@@Serioustwisterwtf racial abuse makes you happy?? You need your head shaking
MAKE YOUR SPOTIFY A VIDEO POD CAST ! Big up the lads tho another great pod
God I love watching Theo get proved wrong every single point he makes.
Less annoyed if there was no VAR???
Because nobody got annoyed about Maradonna's 'Hand of God' goal.
People were ranting about that for, like, two decades.
Did I hear “English players get more scrutiny “. That’s a wild take
It’s just not though, you’re just racist
when youtubers have more mature takes then sky sports 'presenters'
The point about VAR not being sure isn’t that bad when you think of it though. The point of it is to rule out clear and obvious errors and if they aren’t sure whether it’s happened, it’s not a clear and obvious error
Where can you watch the full podcasts?
You cannot say that "they wanted it more" is a bad take on any game... Liverpool most definitely wanted the win more against Newcastle when they went up there....
You can in this scenario, Bc Arsenal wanted just as much or wouldn’t have complained as much as they did
They said that they were confident about the out of bounds and the foul, but we're unsure about the offside call.
This is the birth of SpursCastle, I’ve already been seeing it on Twitter #SpursCastle
Arsenal, after losing Xhaka and not buying a proper Box2Box, were never in a title race a bottle.
That midfield is just struggling as a team.
Whats Theo on about "if Ramsdale did what Raya did he would get ruined". Not like the English media have been on Raya's back for weeks cause they want Ramsdale back as number 1.
Tom Garrett: 'i don't have a horse in this race'
5 minutes before 'Death of the arsenal title charge, toon toon black and white army' 🤦
I wish he’d just come out & say he doesn’t like us. It’s so blatant at this point.
arsenal fan here. tom never misses.
Think that Arsenal had more attacking momentum but Newcastle looked more dangerous when they threatened.
Overall a draw was probably a fair result but how often do we see a single moment of skill / fortune sway those either way
I don't think arsenal had any attacking momentum personally I think the newcastle defence bounced them back pretty much every time and newcastle were hitting on the counters, it was a good battle between two good sides but newcastle definitely edged it imo, all for this rivalry though
@@soltea7926 0 chance newcastle edged it, it was a dead game (scoring wise). Newcastle with 0.3 xG if you count out the goal. Great defending from both teams limiting each other to no clear goal scoring opportunities. Would have liked to have seen this game with fully fit squads however.
Why is Theo speaking sense
24 Feb, Chelsea vs Tottenham and Arsenal vs Newcastle. Book that day off in your calenders.
@3:18 Great take AND supported by the stats. 1.04 xG for Newcastle and only 0.57xG for Arsenal. They deserved to win.
Arsenal had one shot on target all game. Everything down the wings, no penetration.
Another crazy stat though, zero corners for Newcastle and ELEVEN for Arsenal.
stats mean nothing mate shush
@@DC-lx8si All I said was that the statement was backed up by the stats.
Not to mention the good ol' eye test. (One shot on target).
@@benmain5642 you mean arsenal? they had one chance all game and it was dreadful😂
@@DC-lx8si That's what I've been saying the whole time mate, idk what you're on about
Wether you think they were equally good or equally shit they were pretty even throughout, it was always going to be down to something lucky, and in Toons defence you make your own luck. So many players would have left that to run out but he took a gamble and it worked
don't know why Theo thinks that game was great for a neutral, as a neutral I thought it was one of the most boring games of the season. Barely any chances for either team.
I’m glad people recognise wolves have been stiffed this season
We aren't making a statement about Havertz red card
The culture where you can’t criticise a female pundit properly because she’s female
This is like saying “have Spurs bottled the league”, only 1/4 of the way through and neither should, on paper, win the league
That dog has gone through trauma listening to Theo blabbing on in his ear
Give him his due, Theo was good in this clip
Was he fuck, he was in denial this entire time 🤣
I need that fleece that Tom has
Eeee lil cutie patootie dog 🐶🥰👉👈🥹(I’m referring to reev)
I’d love to see how arsenal and man united fans would act if they were in the efl, that standard of officiating would probably cause them to be in a constant state of crying literally crying not just figuratively
jesus theo is always so quick to say “course you’d say that” but he’s the most bias at the table blokes genuinely deluded another L from him as per usual
Took me 3 mins to see the dog 😂😂
Wolves have not been hard done by😂 they just beat a 10 man Bournemouth and Luton😭
Lewis was actually talking sense this video not blurting shit
Both was poor arsenal Vs city and they acted like arsenal bossed it but shoe on other foot in newc game and there like should of been a draw
What's the point of the statements? The Liverpool statement led to big changes in the var communications process to prevent such high profile mistakes of that type occuring again. That's the point of making statements. To get issues in the decision making process ironed out. The PGMOL are making the rules up as they go along with regards to var because they obviously have to because we've never had var before so all the processes surrounding it are a work in progress. Both clubs said in their statements that they want to work with the officials to improve it together. Every club should be behind that, not playing silly tribalism cards as every single club has been affected by it at some point and will be again until it is correct and most importantly CONSISTENT regardless of which referee, player, team or ground are involved.
Can’t bottle something you could never win
W from Theo here.
Although the statement is over the top - "Did Man City put in a statement when they lost to you" is a weird dumb example you'd hear from a child, why would they have put in a statement? What would they have been aggrieved about in that match?
They were never in the race
Liverpools statement was valid cause that was the most scum bag decision I’ve ever seen that cost them the game but Arsenals was just embarrassing
Carragher said Arsenals statement was embarrassing but Liverpool put a statement out to!! So by Theo’s logic Carragher is Liverpool football club????
Well done Tom on correcting the idiot
Clubs shot them selves in the foot with offsides. They didn’t want the offside tech cause they wanted leeway with it
Who is this mature bald man and what has he done with Theo
It wasn’t a great game for a neutral, it was alright but it wasn’t great because there was 2 shots on target. Thought it was very poor in that sense.
It’s that the refs and var is inconsistent. Teams like man united and wolves would get a goal like that chalked off. It needs to be exciting the same in every match and it’s not
after listening to the pod i’ve made the judgement tom just copy everything gary neville says and makes it sound like it’s coming from a you from football twitter, also he said in the pod arteta has spend loads of money but when chelsea have spent loads of money ‘it’s not about how much you spend it’s about how well you spend it’ toms ball knowledge has lost it
Premier league needs better officiating, they couldn't tell if the ball was out or not due to the angle...its the premier league, more clubs bring attention to it the better
Arsenal got chances we just never capitalized. 11 corners to 0 shows we were active in the final third. Just not creativity in open play cuz odegard was out
THEO HUMBLED. Hes acting a lot different in this clip looool love to see it
Theo bottled having ball knowledge
Arteta would not have done that if that goal went arsenal’s way
Theo thinking arsenal are league title quality and also thinking having 1 shot on target is playing well😂
If you don't count the Sheffield game at home, it's 5 shot on target in 3 match against city Chelsea and Newcastle. That's more than just poor
theo definitely dropped as a baby
What the dog doing
Bloody hell, if Tom of all people is saying Newcastle were the slightly better you know it must be true, that lad loves shitting on the toon.
This lad does "The Dingles" no favours he makes zero sense & never let's anyone talk 😂😂, Boing Boing.
So it’s okay for fans to cry about the refs but not a manager? LOL.
Name of the dog please.
Theo
Real.
Why didn't we get to hear the opinion of the tiny little dog?
Probably more qualified than Theo 😭
Im happy to see other fans going against this absolute nonsense from Arsenal fans.
Why can't rugby's system work?
1 shot on target for arsenal in that game
how many shots on target did newcastle have
"They wanted it more" is a perfectly valid analysis of some games, and especially applies to arsenal relatively often.
Normal Arsenal hater lmao😂😂
@@NoooTheWall32grow up
I’m a spurs fan, there is no way havertz should have been sent off I think the referees made the correct decision 👍
The statement from Liverpool was nothing to do with the ref, it was directed at the lack of protocols in place to fix the mistake. I think Arsenal's was more in support of Arteta because they probably expect him to be charged by the FA. The clubs aren't going after the refs, they're going after PGMOL for shifting blame on the refs when they're responsible for a lot of these issues.
Also, Havertz was never a red card. Mad it's even being debated.
Just like you didn’t deserve the win against city just got a lucky goal
Arsenal fans are so emotional
Theo and Tom just don’t get along. Pure arguments lowkey dislike each other
Idk what game these lot watched.
Wonder if Tottenham Tom is gonna have the same intro in the breakdown of the spurs game if all it takes is 1 loss for a title race to fall apart
Also city were openly pissed off at that 2-1 loss to united last season and the statement Arsenal made and what they’re doing is compiling a list of errors made by VAR not this single one 👍
Theo Baker has impressed me in this clip. Too bad he'll turn back into the biased caricature of himself that he usually is.
No they haven't
la la land
Worse this season then you was last season no chance u winning that league pal
Why not moan about the lack of arsenal yellows..?? Should have had shit loads
Arsenal and Newcastle aren’t winning the league or challenging
Trying to remember these chances that Newcastle allegedly had
Everyone celebrating Tottenhams injuries last night shows they’re worried about what ange is building
Stupid argument from the brummie there. Statements aren’t a new thing in football. With the way officiating has been since VAR has come in has been utterly atrocious. It’s getting worse and worse. The ‘Nunez missing + club statement’ point of his argument is just a ridiculous false equivalency.
Like the podcast but its becoming a bit draining with the petty comments made every week. Let each other speak.
The ball went out
As A Newcastle Fan I Can Confirm Since Sunderland In Relegated We Have Been Looking For A Premier League Rival All Year, Arsenal and United are front runners 😭
These Arsenal fans are embarrasing
Tom would be better on the club, I like Theo and reev but Tom knowledge wise is a cut above and talks the most sense ngl 😂😂
Stop interrupting when someone else is speaking, your show is too chaotic and noisy.
Tom is 100% right about 'club statements'. It's embarrassing. It's a disgrace.
why hasn’t it crossed their mind that the statement/ arteta’s comments aren’t solely in relation to the Newcastle game? Arsenal lost the league by 5 points last season, Arsenal also lost 5 points in apologies last season. The kovacic red card could have dented Arsenal’s season by losing to city… same happens with Newcastle giving them their first loss. These are quite literally MULTI MILLION pound decisions. Just because you think other clubs deserve to make statements more than Arsenal, doesn’t mean they don’t have a right to voice their discontent. These statements are public because they have evidently been widely ignored, nothing has changed, standards have dropped more. And when did we decide criticism was “classless”, this system is entrenched in archaism if we can’t voice our opinions.
I get rival fans hate arsenal due largely due to how some fans acted cause of last season, but this problem is bigger than rivalries lol
You need a life, just saying
These three are really milking their borrowed time, I can't imagine anyone is engaged in this show.
Get what you can lads
I used to think it was nice that Tom joined the show, always liked 3 people more than 2 on a "football show/podcast". But this guy is just jarring, thinks he has the best ball knowledge when he only tries to be edgy with his opinions/predictions/statements etc.
arteta is a great coach but he’s underperforming right now with the players he has. Last year his players overperformed a lot this year the team as a whole looks slightly worse even with good signings
Don’t use great for arteta yet
@@user-vv3bz2gt5z mate arsenal were the best team in the world for probably the first 6 months of last season and i’m a liverpool fan so i’m not even bias, they also dominate almost every team they play ofcourse he’s great. I didn’t say world class cus he’s probably just outside of that but give it a year or 2 and he probably will be that
@@timmy5876 what has he done to be termed as a great manager
@@user-vv3bz2gt5z got 85 points in the prem, beat city this season, beat Liverpool last season. They weren’t in the UCL last year so couldn’t win that, he’s an emerging coach u can’t be good instantly u need to build and that’s what he’s doing
Liverpool didn’t think the refs made a wrong decision Liverpool and the refs know they made a wrong decision that’s the difference.
This theo guy is so deluded man its actually comedy listening to him 😂
