The thing with Saka is, in the last few games where he's scored, he's scored with his right foot so it puts doubt in the defender's mind as "which way is he going to turn me and shoot?"

Martinelli’s corner delivery was a dismal. I love that Arteta found a new right wing corner taker in Rice/Trossard. By the way I absolutely love Martinelli…. So many strengths except corners. Just like I love Saka but I could get a heart attack everytime he takes a penalty.
He’s just woeful at long balls in general. He can’t switch for his life. I absolutely love him as a player though(especially his defensive work rate which is really underrated). Just needs to be aware of his weaknesses and stop trying to do it.

Jury's still out for me. He still routinely misses a lot of easy goals by skying them into the rafters, and has done so since Chelsea. I'd much rather have a strong CDM in Xhaka again behind that lets everyone else push forward. But he's what we got, and hes doing better than when he was at Chelsea atleast, so i hope he continues to improve under Arteta.

Did they really give him an assist for the Saka goal ?? 😅. His first touch is atrocious at times and that miss was really bad. He’s a good squad player though. Good option off the bench and for some starts. Very similar to Jorginho. Wouldn’t have paid 65 million for that but he’s bringing value

Everyone’s expectation at the beginning of the season was to win a trophy so by that logic at the end of the season if we don’t then we have failed, remember the process is finished Arteta is 4 years in and 700 million spent so he should have expectations this season to deliver and it’s his fault for binning both domestic cups to focus on the big ones so he really should have to win one. I’ve been supporting the “process” for 4 years but he’s had enough time and money now to deliver trophies

He was definitely not bad and he made some great saves. Maybe he could've done better at 4-0, but overall really solid. Newcastle where dominated and it could have been 6-8 goals with a worse keeper.
