Interesting. I think I am going to track down a version 1 before getting a v2. It has a lot of the qualities of the 16 second delay or a digitdch prs20/20 that has been tweaked that I’ve been looking for in something a little more robust than either of those pedals. And my older Maneco’s are on the verge of falling apart.
I wish I could try another 16 second to judge how bad of shape mine truly is in but I doubt that will ever happen. It’s the only one I’ve seen for sale in my life.

One of rhe dip switches on the MkII turns it to MkI mode. I bet they are alnist identical in that mode...

I’ll take that bet! I knew that, when I bought the mk2, but I don’t think it sounds the same in classic mode. 🤷‍♂️

hard to say? What are you looking for?!?

@ well I’ve had the tensor and loved it. But can the MOOD do everything the tensor can and more?

Hmm, I’ve always seen them as different animals. The mood has the slip function, that in some ways are similar to the Tensor, but the tensor is just something else. I like to use them in conjunction, with the Tensor first in the signal chain, and the Mood later.

Do you like the MkI or MkII better?

      Hi Brian!
At first I was a little bit disappointed with the MKII, but it does something different. I think my expectations to it was different.
In my head I thought it would do everything the MK1 does, just better with upgraded features. But it's more like it does its own thing! As an example the quality of the delays and reverb is much "better" on the MK2, but I really like how the Reverb sounds on the MK1. Maybe some of it can be fixed with the secondary Tone-knob, but I don't know.
Before I go on forever ranting about what I like about the one pedal, and not the other, and vice versa.
If I had the sound of the MK1 with the extended loop time, minus the clock noise on the MK1. It would be awesome.
But it's kind of like with guitars. People often ask me, "what's your best guitar, or what's your favorite one".... And there is a simple answer to that.
      The One I use.
I can't have more than 1-2 guitars in rotation, at a time. The time you put into the instrument, is what gives you joy. That's how it is for me. So to me it really doesn't matter which Mood I'll use, I'll adjust to the capabilities of the pedal. They are both very inspiring.
It was Initially Nels Cline who told me about the MooD, after a Wilco Show in Copenhagen. After I had been questioning him about the 16 second delay. He told me he had spent 14 days playing the mood every night, and he didn't quite figure out what everything did. That was intriguing to me. :)
      Sorry about the rant.
