I’m a Texas man thru and thru and this just gives me a warm home feeling knowing so many great places to eat down home Texas food I can’t wait to start my road trips to see and eat at everyone of these places thanks for making a way to show real texans that the food is down home and from the heart man I’m hungry now smh lol keep it up hope im not dying. This damn pandemic has kept a lot of us Texas road warriors off the backroads over the last 5 months and I am aching to get back out there and Sylvia's is on my list.
Went to Sylvia Mae's today! I ordered takeout for 4 staff at Pizza Hut, Whitehouse, and EVERYBODY loved it! About half hour drive back to Whitehouse, and her soul food was still plenty hot!
All that humming and singing gives it the soul in the soul food.
Wow she made some fried green tomatoes.She seems like such a down to earth and friendly person.Every single thing in that kitchen that they cooked looked delicious.
