When you realize that you wore your iron banner gear upon meeting Saladin in the first cutscene...and probably gave him major PTSD...

about 10 minutes of cutscenes and a few missions, the campaign isn't the main focus of the dlc

BIG GUY You're dumb haha, it's about a 2 hour short story, new strikes, 4 new crucible maps, new crucible mode, new armor/weapons, and a new raid.

if you notice, when Saladin speaks with you at the Iron Temple, he says something different if you are human, awoken, or machine.

This game has a 9 min story basically? I know there's probably some chatter during the mission as you're running around, but damn this seems insultingly short (story wise).
Have you played Destiny? Most of the story is in the gameplay

Halo 5s story also, wasn't great or deep, (people complained about it) But there was a narrative arc that you could follow from beginning to end. If you ask most people what happeend throughout the course of the campaign they can tell you without being confused about who is who are why they were doing what they were doing.
Arnav Gambhir Absolutely. I will totally give Destiny 2 a go, but I'm going to wait a bit. Because I pre-ordered Destiny and it really felt like a bait and switch. When I finished the main campaign. I was like "wtf" and then it's not an MMO in any sense. Like the way they advertised it was not at all like the end product. Not that it was terrible, just that it wasn't what they said it'd be (Kinda like No Man Sky)
*everyone please do yourselves a favor and check out Yakuza 0 comin to ps4 Jan 24. it has one of the most amazing stories that you don't see in many of today's games. if you like open-world action/adventure beat em ups with RPG elements, a deep story with tons of sidecontent and minigames i highly recommend it. look up the Yakuza 0 E3 trailer. and please ask me questions about it , anything that you would like to know please ask me i will answer it.*

I don't understand how people judge how much content is in the game based on the cutscenes. there's the gameplay as well, the new raid, etc.

this is the best of the series i like the fact the the character you play as gets to be a iron lord thats crazy cool i like it something fresh from destiny i like the sword im a hugh sword fan

In my opinion, I enjoyed the story. It was short, but it was pretty damn awesome.
Bungie is getting better at improving the story and everything. Can't wait for Destiny 2 honestly.

Destiny-20 missions and 6 strikes and a raid which equals about 12 hours of content
Dark Below-3 missions, 1 strike, and a raid which equals about 3.5 hours of content.
House of Wolves (The only good expansion)-5 missions, a strike, Prison of Endless Waves, which equals about 8 hours.
Taken King-12 missions, 4 strikes, and a raid which equals about 8 hours of content.
Rise of Iron.............someone fill that for me
I'm just gonna guess about 4 hours considering Destiny had 20 minute cutscenes
And taken King had 15 minutes
Taken king lasted me 3 months somehow
It lasted me the whole year
Rise of Iron, 5 missions, some side missions, new strike, 2 Remade strikes A raid, Archons Forge, i would say 6 hours?
+Alejandro Escobedo and we'll still buy Destiny 2 or hell the next expansion (even though there's no expansions anymore)
if you think about it, you can combine all the trailers for this and make the whole story cutscene, that's sad

Alex Tekle Huh, I couldn't find the cast, but Keith Ferguson is awesome. In fact his voice has such diversity it's kinda hard to pick up
so we do get a sword free for everyone

you do realize this isn't the only thing in the dlc...
Archons forge, new raid, new maps, huge new area, TONS of armor and weapons, MANY new exotic weapons and armor, ornaments, new story missions, new and revamped strikes, 130 new grimoire cards, tons of nomal and exotic quests and many more secret things. There's your 30 bucks.

why destiny still do the same kind of campain, your character don't utter a single word or gesture, nothing. Destiny is finally getting the amount of content it needed for realease, but the quality is still barebone.

What's in the canister? This game isn't even close to bad it was ok at release and a 7/10 was the average rating since then the game has improved tremendously.

The Axes and Swords are simply weapons they had available to them at any time, like guns. The Hammer of Sol is a super and is only able to be used when the Guardian has the energy to cast it.

bostonianful Microsoft did. If you actually look at the ad campaign, the original halo trailer from e3 2013, the MCC trailer, the MCC pre and post story trailers, you'll clearly see that what was being built up was not what we got. Something happened along the way, rewrites perhaps, maybe Microsoft stepped in and changed things. I theorize that Microsoft did this when they made 343 make this the "Reclaimer Saga" As opposed to the Reclaimer Trilogy. They, or someone, forced 343 to extend their vision and drastically alter it, hence why we got what we got. Otherwise, we would have seen something along the lines of a mix of Halo 4 story with Halo 3 action, set pieces and overall campaign...The Multiplayer for 5 is great tho, everyone has their opinions sure, but you cant deny that Halo 5 has absolutely great content and MP.

At this point people should just pirate any future content from this game. Bungie and Activision doesn't deserve your hard earned money when they withhold such potential from a game that could've been as amazing as the Witcher 3. Good thing i didn't buy this game and saved myself $60.
